The eighth major expansion for World of Warcraft is named Shadowlands and brings a new continent with additional factions.
By a somewhat predictable custom, Blizzard has announced at BlizzCon another expansion for World of Warcraft that will soon turn 15 years old. If you've been following the rumors surrounding this expansion, then there is no big surprise. It's called Shadowlands, comes out in 2020, and delivers everything you would expect from an expansion.
So in the foreground is a new continent with zones such as Revendreth, Ardenweald, Bastion and Maldraxxus. This is followed by new factions, dungeons and raids. Particular focus should be placed on the Covenant system and the players' freedom of choice.
