The original Psychonauts was a wacky game, and the sequel will, judging by the trailer shown, try to surpass it in every way.

The new show of Psychonauts 2 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase has raised the anticipation of the sequel to the point of incandescence. The trailer itself follows the protagonist Razputin Aquato in passing through an unprecedented, extremely psychedelic level of the game.

It is essentially a level located in a brain without a body, where the goal is to unlock its senses which are expressed by colorful heads, floating eyes, hands coming out of walls and all sorts of strange animals and plants. The creators definitely do not lack imagination, and we would not be surprised if a generous amount of mushrooms participated in the creation of this level.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 premier is cancelled

The long-awaited sequel to the popular shooter has been given a premiere trailer that focuses on the atmosphere, and in addition, the game will be available for new consoles starting with the Xbox Series X.

We assume that this means that there will no longer be sites to load the area. Also, choices during survival will continue to have consequences which means more different endings.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 still doesn't have a specific release date, but with the PC it also arrives on the Xbox Series X, with the game being available immediately on the Game Pass service upon release. A version for the PlayStation (5) is planned, but only after a certain period of exclusivity for the Xbox.

Halo Infinite debuted with a gameplay livestream

The opening point of Microsoft’s presentation was the only major exclusive game to be launched alongside the Xbox Series X console. And the only display of gameplay.



Microsoft's presentation of the upcoming games for the Xbox ecosystem has started well - even with an eight-minute gameplay from the great exclusive Halo Infinite. We found out that the game will be open and players will be able to choose the order of solving tasks. It is stated that the single-player campaign will have a world that is larger than both worlds from Halo 4 and Halo 5 combined.

In the game we will fight against a "new" faction of enemies called Banished. If you’ve played Halo Wars 2, then you’ll recognize war boss Escharum who will be one of the toughest enemies Master Cheif has encountered so far.

Judging by what was seen, the game looks attractive, although not as if it was made for a completely new generation of hardware. It definitely benefits from the fact that on the Xbox Series X console it will go at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. In addition to the version for the new Xbox, the game will appear on the old Xbox One console as well as on the PC. The Steam version has also been confirmed.

Ubisoft games won’t go up in price, at least not this year

French company Ubisoft has announced that it will not raise the prices of its games for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - at least not immediately.

There is great uncertainty in the unknown fact whether the price of video games for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will jump from 60 euros to 70 euros. For some games, this has already been confirmed, as in the case of NBA 2K21, while other publishers are considering price increases. Among these publishers is the French Ubisoft, but the company said that the price of their games will not increase this year.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion will thus cost € 60 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as much as on older consoles. For all Ubisoft games after the 2020 holidays, the price is still in the fog.

For example, the RTX series of graphics cards on the Turing architecture has been on the market since 2018, while GeForce Now started using raytracing and DLSS techniques only from the beginning of 2020, when the service came out of the testing phase.

Nvidia says the monthly subscription price for GeForce Now will remain at 5.5 euros throughout 2020, despite infrastructure upgrades. But how long it will be so low - we'll find out next year.
