The Galaxy S20 is beginning to be mentioned as a possible name for the next generation of the S series

The chances of this information being shown to be accurate are still low, so you will have to wait for it to be published from multiple sources

All the unofficial information so far, as it always has, regarding the next generation of Samsung's Galaxy S series, has been named Galaxy S11. This is the next issue of last year's Galaxy S10, so it seems logical and probably the name to use.

The famous and often right Ice Universe has announced two short "tweets" announcing the possibility of phones being named Galaxy S20. In one of the posts, he only names the Galaxy S20, and next states "next year is 2020 and 20 is a new beginning".

Although it is the Ice Universe that is considered a credible "leak" of information, yet because this name has been mentioned only once, the possibility remains that it is not certain.

Interestingly, in recent releases the Ice Universe continues to use the name Galaxy S11, so it goes without saying that it is not even sure about the possibility of changing the name.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be so strange for Samsung to decide that the next S-series phones will continue to name the Galaxy S20, S30 and so on. It's already doing something similar to the mid-range A Series, but these phones name more frequent upgrades that use numbers like 31.

There is still some time to wait for the Galaxy S Series to be officially released in 2020, so we will hear more unofficial information as to whether the name change is something to look forward to.
