Another Resident Evil is in development, Capcom has invited players for testing

Although they have their hands full with Resident Evil 3 remake, Capcom is already working on a new game for its successful horror series.

As we have recently heard, the games from the Resident Evil series have sold over 94 million copies so far. The remake of Resident Evil 2 is competing for the best game of 2019, and it's clear that Capcom is looking to continue its successful streak. They have already announced the revision of Resident Evil 3, but they appear to have at least one other Resident Evil in development.

This unofficial information came from Reddit, where a member of the Resident Evil Ambassadors program shared his invitation to test an unannounced game. While it is possible that this is an attempt to spread the falsehood, there is a greater chance that the matter is actually true. Firstly, Capcom has similarly called on the "ambassadors" to test the Resident Evil 3 multiplayer component, and secondly - we are sure that it is planning Resident Evil 8 as the first "new" Resi after three years.

The previous Resident Evil (7) is close to 7 million units sold, a success that Capcom initially did not expect. According to recent statistics, about one million players have played this Resident Evil in VR mode, which is also not a negligible figure.
