Naraka: Bladepoint is a fighting game that combines the ideas of Sekir and Overwatch
China's 24 Entertainment team has announced its first game that combines Sekiro and Overwatch into a true multiplayer scroll.
Activision had not yet remembered to combine the acclaimed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with the Overwatch multiplayer formula, but someone else remembered it. China's 24 Entertainment team yesterday unveiled its game called Naraka: Bladepoint, which they are currently developing for PC and plan to launch in 2020.
The game is one in which ninjas war in multiplayer, and that war involves jumping on rooftops, parkour elements, and swordsmanship. Supposedly, the game has affordable mechanics for blocking and reciprocating kicks that do not use a separate button but are timed. I suspect that the attack command blocks the opponent's shot, but exactly how it works we will find out later.
