The creators of Rainbow Six Siege are no longer working on that game, it goes into the hands of another team
After four years of support for Rainbow Six Siege, the team that created the game is moving on to other projects.
The Ubisoft Montreal team has announced they will no longer work on their most successful Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege game. Four years after the game's release, the team led by creative director Xavier Marquis and brand director Anexander Remy is transitioning to some new projects, Ubisoft announced.
Of course, this does not mean that this is the development of the Rainbow Six Siege. The game will continue to have support in the form of new content and updates, only a brand new team led by Leroy Athanassoff, chief designer of For Honor, will work on them. There is always a danger that the new team may not be up to the task level, but the positive is that the team has a plan for the future of the game.
As they say, they aim to expand the game universe by delivering content that will be meaningful to all players and the entire community. Earlier, we heard that the game would receive more focus on the story in the coming seasons, and we are still waiting for the introduction of the cross-play option.
