Peter Parker is the new man in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered

In addition to improvements in graphics, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will also bring a new look to the main character, Peter Parker.

Sony has unveiled the first remaster footage of two-year-old Marvel’s Spider-Man. They confirmed once again that the remaster will receive support for ray-tracing reflections and ambient shadows. The characters will have improved skin textures, while their teeth will get a new shader. That's it.

But things will not only be improved but also changed. It has been announced that Peter Parker will get a new face - instead of the current John Bubniak, the new face model for Peter Parker will be Ben Jordan. Here's what it will look like in the cutscenes themselves:

Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the PlayStation 5 console will load the game so fast that we will no longer see those animations when Spider-Man travels by subway. But if for some reason you want to include them and extend your loading - you will be able to, no one will defend you.

And here is the gameplay, in 60 fps:

Nintendo warns: recharge the Switch console at least twice a year

The Japanese branch of Nintendo told customers of the Switch console to charge the battery at least every six months.

Rare are those who buy a console and never use it, but Nintendo believes that there are some. That's why they warned via the official Twitter profile that the Switch console could become unusable in portable mode if the user doesn't use it for a long time.

Namely, Nintendo recommends that the console battery be charged at least once every six months. If the battery is not charged for more than six months, a malfunction may occur, ie a situation in which it can no longer be charged. Admittedly, this is not a specific battery feature for Switch consoles - this is also true for most lithium-ion batteries.

So be sure to watch out - even if you don't use the Switch, you should occasionally show a little love… or at least electricity to the console.

20,000 cheaters were kicked out of Call of Duty: Warzone this week

On the occasion of the start of the sixth season in the current Call of Duty modes, Activision blocked access to the game to a large number of players who were detected as cheaters.

Soon after the advent of Call of Duty: Warzone, players appeared who cheated in the same using all sorts of tools and methods for it. In the fourth month, development studio Infinity Ward blocked about 70,000 players who were confirmed to have used various tricks. But the problem of cheating has not diminished, so a new wave of blockades followed again this week.

Before the start of the sixth season in Warzone, more than 20 thousand cheaters were blocked, reports the Vice portal. I don’t normally follow the cheat tool scene, but supposedly cheat tools that are distributed through subscriptions are popular for Call of Duty games. It makes sense - today everything is on subscription anyway, so it is no surprise that the possibility of cheating is also sold on subscription.

On the forums of one of these services, cheaters are angry because, as they say - if they paid for something, they should not be kicked out of the game.

Brother is brother to enemy in the movie trailer for Godfall

The upcoming game Godfall has got an attractive trailer in which it looks better than in reality. We just hope they didn’t shell out all the money into developing this video!

The last trailer for the action game Godfall divided viewers: some found a positive in it, and others burned their eyes with variegation. It was similar with the previous video, so the team is now making a hell of an effort around the Cinematic trailer.

This is not just a promotional trailer but a video that we will see during the introduction to the game itself, and as such it is quite impressive. I just hope that most of the budget for this game was not spent on him!

The skill tree in Diablo 4 is literally a tree

Blizzard has decided to significantly change the skill and upgrade system for Diablo 4 so that classes can have more different builds.

Blizzard has announced that a changed system of advancement and unlocking skills awaits us in Diablo 4. It is still a branched system, with a literal tree in the background, with active and passive skills clearly separated: passive in a circle and active in a square. Depending on the direction of development, passive points are unlocked on the tree, which can activate strong effects at the bottom, ie at the root of the tree.

The idea behind this redesign is that each class has multiple different builds. To this end, Blizzard has decided that players will not be able to unlock all the skills for a single character, but end game characters will have approximately 30-40% of the skills filled out of the total number of them on the tree itself. In fact, the main source of power in the end game segment will come from the very class the player is playing, with the goal of offering players more variety and depth than the current Paragon system in Diablo 3.

The CD Project RED requires workers to work overtime so that Cyberpunk 2077 can come out in November

Although a year ago the CD Project promised that employees would not have to work overtime, that promise has now been broken.

Cyberpunk 2077 will not be delayed for the third time, the team from the CD Project promises us. But, according to the Bloomberg portal, the employees of that company will pay the price for that promise because this week they received a notification that they will have to work overtime until the release of the game (November 19) - six days a week instead of the standard five days. Fortunately, they will be paid in accordance with Polish labor law.

What is controversial in this situation is that the Polish company promised a year ago that this will not happen and that they do not support the idea of overtime just to complete the game on time. The explanation for this decision was offered by the head of the studio himself, Adam Badowski, stating that they simply had no other options because they had already cracked two delays in the release.

An anonymous source who revealed this information to Bloomberg claims that part of the employees have been working overtime for more than a year, but of their own free will. The game has been sent to the certification process at Sony and Microsoft which means it is complete, but in the remaining 50 days (yes, we are counting down) the team has to work intensively on polishing the game and fixing bugs.

We found out the plot of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the bearded game in the series

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming adventure of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and revealed some fresh details about the story of that game.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve stopped following the broader story of Assassin’s Creed games and I’m mostly focusing on the plots they deliver within some historical period. For AC Valhalla, we knew by now that he would follow the Viking warrior Eivor and his clan in the invasion of Britain. But now we’ve found out a few more details with the attached trailer for the story.

Namely, Eivor will have a brother named Sigurd and he is the one who suggested Eivor leave Norway. But this idea did not come to Sigurd by itself, but at the urging of an unknown character belonging to the assassins. That is, as the game unfolds the first Assassin’s Creed in which only the fraternity became public, in Valhalla the group of assassins will continue to be called as they were called in AC Origin - Hidden Ones.

Testing is coming to an end, Torchlight 3 has an release date

Originally announced as a free to play title to then move on to a full-blooded sequel, Torchlight 3 has sharpened its swords through the Early Access phase ending in the middle of next month.

The new sequel to the Torchlight series didn’t start its life the best. Torchlight 3 was originally presented as a free2play title which did not sit well with all fans. It was later revealed that the game would still be reworked into a purebred sequel for which furry animals would have to be singled out. That sounded like good news back then and just like any newer game, Torchlight 3 could and still can be played through the Early Access phase which is coming to an end soon.

Specifically, all content will be available from October 13 for when release 1.0 is scheduled. the version with which the endgame arrives and the third chapter. What’s a little worrying at the moment relates to the many criticisms that players have made during testing so it remains to be seen whether most or all of this will be fixed.

Otherwise, Torchlight 3 will be similar to its predecessors, and with the release of the game, each version will get a special heel. So PC players will get a purple pet, PS4 players a blue one, Xbox players a green one and Switch players a pet the color of ash. It’s just that Torchlight fans will have to put up with extra patience until the Switch version comes out later this year.

Forza Motorsport 7 is finally arriving at Game Pass

Microsoft has revealed which new games are arriving in the tenth month on the Xbox Game Pass, and they have also confirmed when the service connects to EA Play.

Forza Horizon 4 is one of the most popular games on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, so it has always been unknown why the simulation alternative Forza Motorsport 7 is not available with the same subscription. It has been on the market for three years and was a rare example of Microsoft was available through subscription. However, that will change from Oct. 8 when Forza Motorsport 7 arrives on the Xbox Game Pass for consoles, PC and Android (xCloud streaming).

In addition to Forza, the Game Pass will feature the already confirmed Doom Eternal (for consoles) and the cult hit Brutal Legend, also for Xbox consoles. Brand new games by Drake Hollow and Ikenfell will be available on the PC. The games catalog from 15 October will leave Metro 2033 Redux, Saint’s Row 4, Felix the Reaper, Minit and State of Mind.

Microsoft has also revealed that Electronic Arts games on the Xbox Game Pass will arrive on November 10 this year, just after the release of the Xbox Series S and X consoles. As a reminder, then Game Pass will receive about 60 games available through the EA Play subscription, at no additional charge. The offer is valid for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC and Xbox consoles.

FarmVille is shutting down, tell aunts and uncles

The game that was a real hit on Facebook a decade ago will soon be euthanized along with the software on which it is based.

And the pigs in the barns know that as of December 31 this year, the Flash software platform of the Adobe company, which until ten years ago was an indispensable part of the Internet for all kinds of animations, web games and the like, will go down in history. One of the more popular games in Flash was FarmVille on Facebook, which is still alive but won’t be around for long.

Zynga has confirmed that it will remove FarmVille from the device the same day Flash loses official support. So, from 2021 it will no longer be possible to play the original Farmville, and from 17.11 this year it will no longer be possible to spend money in that game. So please, Aunt Lovorka, stop sending me more requests to help you build a goat barn!

Of course, this does not mean the end of the FarmVille series as such. Virtual farmers can switch to FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape, and it may be even smarter to take a short break from the farm until the arrival of FarmVille 3, which has been available for some time, but an official exit follows by the end of 2020.

If you have sentimental memories of FarmVille, here's something you can say goodbye to the game with:

Sony: Playing on a PlayStation is less harmful to the environment than going to the movies

Sony has released a new report on its initiative to reduce carbon emissions through the use of their products.

Sony pledged to be a more environmentally conscious company last year, along with a bunch of other companies in the IT sector. They promised so that the PS5 console will consume less power at rest, and this year they decided to point out that their approach in the video game industry is not as harmful to our planet as other approaches to other platforms.

Namely, according to Sony's research, downloading a digital game on the PlayStation 4 results in an average emission of 0.0047 kilograms of carbon dioxide per hour, which is almost half less than downloading digital games on the PC platform. Furthermore, Sony claims that downloading games is better for the planet than streaming games via platforms like Stadia, Luna or GeForce Now, because streaming games per hour results in the emission of 0.149 kilograms of carbon dioxide.

However, this is only a partial picture because streaming is less harmful to the planet than downloading when it comes to playing games that last up to eight hours. In this scenario, downloading games can leave a larger carbon footprint than a regular download. But it is interesting to compare carbon dioxide emissions with going to the cinema, for example. According to a 2012 study, Sony claims that going to the cinema results in 50 times more carbon dioxide emissions than downloading a game on a PS4 console. Of course, this means that you go to the cinema with some form of fuel transport. But even that is debatable because in 2012 there were not as many electric vehicles in circulation as today.

Sony presents the data here in a directed way to turn it out in a nicer light. Indeed, it’s nice to know that the PlayStation 5 will consume about 70% less power in sleep mode. However, you won't save anything by doing this, because the console will consume significantly more power during operation than the standard PlayStation 4 and even the PlayStation 4 Pro console, which is a fact that Sony will be happy to keep silent in such reports.

The trailer for Hogwarts Legacy is among the most popular videos on the PlayStation channel

The trailer for the magical Hogwarts Legacy has sparked by far the most interest of all the games announced this month.

Less than two weeks ago, the game Hogwarts Legacy was officially announced and judging by the viewership of the first trailer on YouTube, they can be very satisfied in Warner Bros. On the official PlayStation YT channel, the game thus has the fastest growing trailer in terms of viewership, and in terms of new games, the second most watched this year after the announcement trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

In total, the trailer was viewed 10.94 million times in 12 days and became the third most successful video on the PlayStation channel from a non-Sony-produced game, for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. And not only that, Hogwarts Legacy currently has higher ratings than standard recorders - the new Fife, Call of Duty and Minecraft. Still, it is far from the absolute record holder of Fortnite, whose announcement of the second season was viewed 60 million times seven months ago.

It will be interesting to see if these numbers reflect the players ’great interest in the Hogwarts Legacy or the trailer was also popular in discussions about the affair with J.K. Rowling, the author from whose mind the whole magical world came. For now, we can only judge by the first reactions to the trailer, and they are mostly positive.

Meet the characters of the colorful anime game Scarlet Nexus

Xbox exclusive Scarlet Nexus has been given a trailer that brings us closer to the plot of the game and introduces us to the main characters within the story.

Instead of the expected Elden Ring, Bandai Namco showed off the Xbox exclusive Scarlet Nexus at the Tokyo Games Show. They revealed the plot of the game to us, and it goes something like this… Grotesque creatures called Others appear on the streets of New Minuca, feeding on human brains. An OSF army is formed to defend humanity. Part of that army is Kasana, a character who rules the powers of psychokinesis. She is joined by Yuito Sumeragi, who will also be a playful character, and along the way they make new friends and form a lineup that also includes Tsugumi Nazar, Luka Travers and Gemma Garrison. Together they fight to erase "Others" from existence.

It looks like Mafia 4 will be based in Los Angeles

Materials that can be seen in the recently launched Mafia: Definitive Edition suggest a potential setting in one of the following games.

In the Mafia: Definitive Edition, there is a whole range of collectibles, from comic book covers to pictures from cigarette packs. The cigarette packs contain famous characters from the series itself, but also two completely new mobsters. Fredo Clemente is from Havana and Loui Romeo is from Los Ondas. We know about Havana, but Los Ondas is unknown, so fans of the series think that the Hangar 13 development team has suggested a location for Mafia 4.

All the cities in the Mafia games so far have been imitations of real American cities. Lost Heaven thus imitated Chicago, Empire Bay was inspired by New York while New Bordeaux is actually New Orleans. Los Ondas could be Los Angeles in that context, but we will have to wait some more time to confirm that. Earlier, the possibility of the game taking place in Las Vegas was mentioned, but this was not confirmed either.

Admittedly, it’s no secret that the next project in the Mafia series is already in the production process. Although the series has never had any major financial success, it has managed to establish itself over time as a good alternative to GTA games. And given that Rockstar is now more engaged around GTA Online than around GTA 6, there is plenty of room in the market for a new Mafia.

The animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness has been announced for Netflix

The handsome Leon S. Kennedy and his companion Claire Redfield will appear on Netflix in 2021 through an animated series.

The times before Resident Evil are exciting. New games are coming, one of which is a remake of the cult four, and the other a drastically different RE: Village. A new film is coming, ie a reboot of the film series, without Mille Jovovich. Then comes the Netflix series about the Wesker sisters. But that's not all. The anime series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is also coming to Netflix in 2021.

Like many other CG works from the Resident Evil series, Infinite Darkness will focus on “mannequins” - Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Although both characters got a new look in the remake of Resident Evil 2, in the series they will be presented according to the models from RE6 (Leon) and RE: Revelations 2 (Claire).

From Capcom, they promise that Infinite Darkness will reveal a world of Resident Evil like we have never seen before. But what we see in the trailer itself are quite familiar motifs involving zombies. So while we’re taming werewolves in the new game, we’ll still be watching classic zombies in the series.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity looks like great fun

Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have released new material for the upcoming Switch exclusive Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and it must be admitted that the game is very promising.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is technically not a new game from the Zelda series. It is not made by Nintendo and is genre-oriented exclusively towards action. But the previous Hyrule Warriors was an unexpectedly fun game, and it all seems to us that Age of Calamity will be even more interesting to Zelda fans.

Namely, apart from the fact that the game visually irresistibly resembles Breath of the Wild (and the action directly precedes that game), the fight looks insanely attractive to her. Namely, in the gameplay footage shown at the TGS fair, it is possible to see up to a hundred Bokoblins on the screen and hit them all with one attack. In short, the action looks at least three times faster than in BOTW, and the battles seem epic, just as they should in an era of great disaster and Gannon's rise.

Here's what the gameplay of the new Hyrule Warriors looks like:

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has reportedly been postponed to 2021.

We will not play the remaster collection of the Mass Effect trilogy this fall, say some sources close to the development of that package.

And the sparrows on the branches are already arguing with the crows about whether the Mass Effect trilogy will get its remastered collection. We were expected to play it this fall, but the VentureBeat portal, according to sources close to the development of the remaster collection, says that this will not happen for some time.

Reportedly, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was internally postponed until 2021 and before the game was officially announced. Also reportedly creating problems is the first Mass Effect, which is a mechanically inferior game than the other two. In addition, it is much poorer graphically because it dates back to 2007. It would be convenient to bring the unit to the level of a deuce both graphically and mechanically, and perhaps it is precisely this secret delay that leads to it.

Realistically, he won't, but hey - he should be optimistic.

By the way, it is mentioned that the Legendary Edition will not feature the multiplayer mode from Mass Effect 3, which means that this release will be a single-player-focused collection.

The dinosaurs are in a great hurry to become extinct in the Second Extinction shooter

A 16-minute, raw Raw(r) display of gameplay from the Second Exctinction shooter has arrived. Judging by what was seen, the dinosaurs are terribly eager to get in front of the player.

The next Need for Speed may have motorbikes

Actor Alex Nu has revealed that he filmed animations for motorcyclists for Electronic Arts. He didn't say which game, but it looks like it's a new Need for Speed.

We know that the new Need for Speed title is in development with the Criterion team, and now there is a small indication that this game could have two-wheeled racing for the first time in the series. Namely, actor Alex Nu shared a picture from the shooting for Electronic Arts on his Instagram, and wrote that he was shooting animations for drivers, civilians and motorcyclists.

While he didn’t explicitly state that he worked on the Need for Speed game, it definitely sounds that way because EA in production has nothing even close to that, at least as far as they’ve now revealed. In addition, Alex Nu is known for working on the film Hobbs & Shaw from the Fast & Furious franchise, and we all know that Need For Speed and Fast & Furious are practically like a finger and a nail.

The appearance of motorcycles in Need For Speed would otherwise not be too much of a surprise. Namely, the development studio Criterion has included engines in its Burnout series. In last year's Need for Speed: Heat, there was also one motorcycle that could be ridden, but only by a detour, that is, unofficially.

Resident Evil Village may come out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Capcom said it was exploring the possibility of bringing Resident Evil 8 to old consoles, although they promised nothing.

Resident Evil Village is designed for next-generation consoles and PCs, Capcom says. But they would also like to bring the game to the old PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, they claim. With that intent, they set out to explore that possibility, but beg that they not be held to their word because this is not a promise that the new Resi will indeed appear on these platforms.

In addition to that information, Capcom has released a new development diary for the game. In it, they point out that the protagonist Ethan Winters in RE Village is a far more rounded character and has more background stories. His search for his daughter will coincide with the events in the title village, and we will follow the complex story in part through the Village of Shadows picture book.

We expect to see new materials from the game on Sunday, September 27.

Doom Eternal announced its arrival at the Xbox Game Pass

In the totally expected turn of events, the same week that Microsoft announced the purchase of Bethesda, the infernal shooter Doom Eternal was confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass.

It didn’t take long for the marriage between Microsoft and Bethesda to start games under the auspices of this other company to start coming to the Xbox Game Pass. Among the first is this year's new hit shooter Doom Eternal, which will appear on the Game Pass for Xbox consoles on October 1, while it will arrive on the Game Pass for PC a little later in 2020.

This means that Doom Eternal will be one of the more current games that can be played on the Xbox Series S and X consoles in the 11th month via subscription.

Admittedly, Doom Eternal on the Game Pass will not be a complete edition of the game because the upcoming expansion of The Ancient Gods will be sold separately from October 20. But one fine sunny day, sometime in 2021, this expansion will probably be merged with Doom Eternal on the Game Pass .

And now we are still waiting for the inevitable - Skyrim: Game Pass Edition. S “4x times the detail”.

The Rocket League recorded one million active players at the same time for the first time

The transition to the free-to-play model was extremely successful for the Rocket League game. The five-year-old title thus set a new record in the number of players.

Even before switching to the free-to-play model, Rocket League was a successful game played by more than 75 million players at least once. But that five-year-old title welcomed a new youth under Epic Games that allowed the game to become free.

Namely, yesterday at one point Rocket League was played by about a million players at the same time, combined with all platforms. In the five years since the game has been on the market, it is the first time that the number of one million active players has been broken. We don't know which platform had the most players at the time, but previously the Rocket League had a maximum of 119,000 active players on PC earlier this year.

This success was certainly due to the fact that the game on PS4 and Switch consoles bypassed the need to pay subscriptions to PS Plus and Nintendo Online. But the great interest of the players also had its consequences, so the servers were having a hard time breathing. Personally, I didn't run into any problems with server stability, but I only played 2-3 games so I'm not relevant to judge.

What are your experiences with the Rocket League so far?

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will not be available as a separate game

Sony has clarified the situation with the Marvel’s Spider-Man remaster for the PlayStation 5. And the situation is still complicated.

Sony has quietly announced a 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man remaster for the PlayStation 5, and they didn’t want to raise the pump for several reasons. First, owners of Spider-Man for PS4, either standard or GOTY editions, cannot get the remaster for free. Secondly, if you already have a game for PS4 and want to transfer the recorded positions to remaster - it will not work.

Third, you can’t buy a remaster separately, Sony has confirmed, but only as part of Marvel’s new Spider-Man: Miles Morales game. Fourth, it will cost you 80 euros and nothing else. Admittedly, Sony has highlighted one option. Namely, if you buy Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PlayStation 4 (exclusively digital), on PlayStation 5 you have the right to buy an upgrade to the Ultimate edition, which includes a remaster. It will cost 20 euros.

Technically, then, they sell the remaster separately - but only to those who bought Spider-Man: Miles Morales, either on the PlayStation 4 or on the Petite. In other words, there’s no reason why the remaster couldn’t be sold separately - to everyone, when they don’t already give it away for free at least to the owners of the GOTY edition of Spider-Man.

A 1TB “memory card” for Xbox Series consoles will be peppery

If you want to upgrade your Xbox Series consoles with a 1TB card, you’ll pay for it almost like a new console.

The rumors were true - a miniature SSD in the form of a card that will expand the space for installing games on Xbox Series S and X consoles will be an extremely expensive addition. In the US, the Best Buy retail chain has started accepting orders for the aforementioned one-terabyte card at a price of US $ 219.99. That’s close to half the price of the Xbox Series X console, and the best comparison is that the Xbox Series S console is only $ 80 more expensive than this card.

For now, Microsoft and Seagate, the company that makes these SSD cards, have only announced a 1TB model. More models of different capacities will probably appear in time, but it is certain that buying such cards will be the only way to expand the capacity of Xbox consoles for installing games. Namely, even Xbox Series consoles will not be able to run new games from portable USB drives, but only old Xbox One titles.

The price of these cards could be a thorn in the side of customers of the cheaper Xbox Series S console that comes with a 512GB drive. If the user wants to upgrade that console with a 1TB card, they will end up paying more for it than the more powerful Xbox Series X model. In that case, it’s not even insane to think that two Xbox Series S consoles are a more cost-effective purchase than one Series S with an optional SSD card.

Baldur’s Gate 3 postponed again, but only for a week

Yet there will be nothing since the release of the much-anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 this month. But no worries - the game is still very close.

Once upon a time, the release of full versions of games was delayed, and today even unfinished versions of games no longer arrive on time! That’s how that time has come, evil and upside down! The early access version of Baldur’s Gate 3 has been postponed for the second time and will not come out on September 30 as planned. However, the delay is not terrible and the game will be delayed only a week - until October 6.

The reason for the delay is some problems with the stability of the game, as well as the delay of some translations. But at Larian Studios they are honest so they say there is no guarantee that the same will be resolved with an extra week. It should be, they say, but there is always a small chance that some wise player will find a problem where they could not mechanically recognize it. But either way, the game will really go on distribution Oct. 6 on PC and Stage.

Minimum game requirements have also been published, and it is stated that they could be reduced over time as the game is optimized. The minimum requirements to run an early access version of Baldur’s Gate 3 are as follows:

  • CPU: Intel i5-4690 / AMD FX 4350
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 780 / AMD Radeon R9 280X
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • HDD: 70 GB

No Man’s Sky is expanding the universe with the Origin upgrade

If you’ve thought you’ve explored every nook and cranny of the universe, with the new upgrade come loads of things including a huge sandworm that is always hungry for some reason.

Although No Man’s Sky started life on shaky feet, the developers did not give up, so they still managed to stabilize the game and somewhat revive the vision they had not presented since the first announcement. That vision isn’t over yet because a new upgrade called Origin further expands the game so if you’ve explored everything so far, this could be why it’s worth turning on the spaceship’s engines again.

With already standard new planets just waiting to be discovered, there are now systems with binary and ternary stars. According to the developers, the new planets thus include dramatic changes in landscapes, which means new flora and fauna, as well as huge mountains, volcanoes and the like.

An additional atmosphere will be provided by a new display of weather conditions, with the rest of the technical side getting improvements which means better textures, lighting, higher level of detail… To make gaming more comfortable, improvements have been made to the interface with a new content to be discovered in ancient civilizations. Since this is a 3.0 version of the game, you can see all the changes on the official website and see the summaries in the attached trailer.

The team has gathered, Squad is ready to come out in version 1.0

The Kickstarter hit that has spent a little less than five years in the Early Access phase is available today in version 1.0, and on that occasion a new map and faction is arriving.

Without too much pomp and a trailer announcing the trailer announcing the exit, Squad is available in its full version as of today. Specifically, it took a little less than five years of the Early Access phase through which the game got a bunch of different upgrades, this tactical shooter now arrives in version 1.0.

Squad is the spiritual successor of the once popular Battlefield 2 mode - Project Reality, with the fact that team play is even more pronounced here in scenarios that support up to 100 players. The maps are located around the world, and their size supports earth and air vehicles.

The whole principle of gameplay is based on a realistic depiction of warfare in which team cooperation is needed, because in addition to shooting, it can be built on the battlefield and it is necessary to think about logistics. With the arrival of version 1.0, in addition to the standard improvements, a new faction and map will be available, but that does not mean that the development is complete. The developers say that this has been a long journey and that they still have a lot of plans for the future of the game.

Rocket League has become free, Epic Games gives you 10 euros if you add it

Rocket League is as of today a free-to-play game on all platforms. And if you add it to your PC, you’ll get a € 10 gift voucher at the Epic Games Store for it.

Car football called Rocket League from today can be played for free. It's not a free trial, but the game has permanently become free, ie switched to a free-to-play model. And that applies to all platforms - PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. However, you can no longer find the game on PC on Steam but on the Epic Games Store.

In order to attract new players, but also those existing Rocket League fans, Epic Games offers an additional incentive to create an account for their Epic Games Store and to add Rocket League there. If you do so by October 23rd this year, a € 10 coupon will be added to your Epic Games Store account that you can spend on any game that costs a minimum of € 15 or more.

The coupon cannot be exchanged for real money and you can only spend it by buying something on the Epic Games Store no later than November 1 this year.

If you ask me, your safest bet is Hades, a game that came out in version 1.0 last week and is currently already at a 20% discount - today and tomorrow. This is a very high-quality title with an average rating of 93 on Metacritic - ie among the five best rated games in 2020. If you buy this game in combination with Epic's coupon, it will cost you only 6.79 euros.

The Division 2 will be free to try for the 501st time

The Division 2 will again be free for a limited time, and owners of the Warlords of New York expansion can try out a new challenge - The Summit.

The eleventh major update was released yesterday for Ubisoft's looter shooter The Division 2. The owners of the Warlords of New York expansion thus got their third season with a new challenge called The Summit in which the goal is to successfully solve 100 floors of the building with each floor presenting a more difficult challenge.

On this occasion, Ubisoft is organizing another weekend of free trial of the game. It will be available on all platforms (PC, PS4, XBO) and will run from tomorrow, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m.

The game will be up to 85% off in that period. The standard edition on PC will sell for 4.5 euros, and the aforementioned expansion for 18 euros. On consoles, the standard edition will be 12 euros, and the expansion 18. If you decide to buy, it is worth noting that The Division 2: Warlords of New York includes both the standard edition and expansion.

The most famous boy band in the world will premiere a new video at Fortnite

Another premiere will take place at Fortnite this week. To the delight of all fans of South Koje pop music, the mega-popular band BTS arrives.

Fortnite is in the spotlight again, though not because the PC game got raytracing effects - who cares. Much bigger and more important news is that the South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys, or BTS, has announced a concert at Fortnite.

More precisely, they will premiere a video for their song "Dynamite" in the game, especially because it is their first song in English - ever. And as such, she immediately came to number one on Billboard’s top 100 chart, which has so far also been unprecedented and unheard of for a South Korean band song.

Basically, BTS will drop by Fortnite in Party Royale mode on September 26 at two in the morning. So prepare popcorn, or something. Or just ignore the whole thing and watch the video on YouTube later. I mean, technically there are already two videos of that song, but the third - the third will be… no one is even ready for what the third will be!

BlizzConline has been announced, the name of the event says it all

Blizzard's gathering with fans in the next edition will be held online, so the name itself was changed from BlizzCon to BlizzConline.

Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the traditional gathering of Blizzard fans and teams will not take place this year. But as early as next year, an online version of BlizzCon will be organized which will be called - you would never guess - BlizzConline.

The first BlizzConline is scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2021, and will be open to all fans and curious viewers. We expect to see new materials from Blizzard games such as Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, but if you don't want to be just an observer, you can also participate in the program through a competition for cosplayers, a digital story and drawings on the subject of Blizzard worlds. Applications for these competitions are open until January 4, 2021.

The new trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4 invites you to get in shape

Crash Bandicoot 4 promises some crazy things that fans need to be prepared for. Anyone who is unprepared will end up as Crash in the new trailer.

Serious Sam 4 declared war on the aliens

Serious Sam 4 is coming out this week, and the new trailer for that game shows us the high roles, the B production acting and the inevitable machismo of the title protagonist.

The first two PlayStation 5 exclusives will take up 20% of the total disk space

The size of the installations for the first PlayStation 5 games is known and the situation is not very promising for now, considering the disk capacity.

If you install Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Edition and Demon’s Souls processing on the PlayStation 5, you’ve already used up 20% of the capacity of the SSD, or drive, needed to play games. Add to that the fact that one of the declared 825 GB will be reserved for the console's operating system, which means that in that situation one third of the disk space is already filled.

Specifically, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will weigh about 50 gigabytes, or 105 gigabytes with a remaster of the first Marvel’s Spider-Man. Technically these are two games, but 105 GB is no stranger to the notion of a single installation as several PS4 games have already weighed that much. Demon’s Souls will weigh a minimum of 66 gigabytes, which means that the installation could be increased through updates.

Until further notice, the PlayStation 5 will not be sold with a disc with a capacity of more than 825 GB, and an additional pressure is that PS5 games will not be able to play from a portable disc. So, until Sony announces a model with a higher capacity drive, the upgrade will only be possible by purchasing the appropriate PCI 4.0 PC drives - but not any, and we are still waiting for Sony to finalize the list of those that will be supported for the PlayStation 5 console. It also remains unclear how these disks will be installed in the console. It is likely that there will be opening of the console, ie we have not seen an external slot for it as with the Xbox Series X / S console, and the question is how this will affect the warranty.

Of course, some users won't mind if they can only have 6-7 games installed on the disk at a time, but Sony has promised that due to the speed of loading data from the disk, game installations could be reduced because there would be no need to duplicate material on the disk. But judging by the examples of the first games, that promise has not yet materialized. Namely, the original Marvel’s Spider-Man GOTY was 55 GB. And his remaster weighs just as much. If the installation is reduced, it is "compensated" by the advancement of the graphics, ie by raising the texture resolution.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the new consoles will go at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution

Ubisoft has confirmed to us that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be the first game in the series to go at 60 fps on next-generation consoles.

Gone are the days of "film experience" with Ubisoft games at 30 frames per second! That is, they passed in the context of Assassin’s Creed and the new PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X consoles. It was announced last week that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the XSX console will have a performance in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, and it has now been confirmed that the same will be achieved in the PlayStation 5 version.

I honestly don't believe that this is a native 4K resolution, but rather that it is a method of upscaling. However, it is less important - the emphasis is on these 60 frames per second. Here’s why: no Assassin’s Creed game on consoles has ever run above 30 fps! Ok, to be honest, there were Assassins running at 60 fps, but in a multiplayer component, not within the campaign itself. Personally, this is a significant thing for me because that is why the PC platform was primary for me to play the games of this series, and I played them there as a controller anyway, on TV.

Of course, there is a reason why 60 fps will be feasible for AC Valhalla on consoles. The reason is that the game will not have support for raytracing effects, such as the Watch Dogs Legion which will go at 30 fps. And to tell you the truth, from what I saw playing the game a few months ago, Valhalla brings nothing more advanced in terms of presentation than what we already had in Origins from 2017 and Odyssey from 2018. But maybe the game is additionally made up by 10. 11. when it comes out for most platforms, and 19. 11. when it will appear on PlayStation 5.

The main story of Cyberpunk 2077 will last shorter than Witcher 3

We still don't know how much durability the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 will offer, but it has been confirmed that its main story will last shorter than the one in Witcher 3.

Some players have complained to CD Projekt RED that the main story in their game The Witcher 3 is too long, that is, to stretch to approximately 50 hours. According to the data available to CD Projekt, a good part of the players never finished the story, which is a bit of a sad fact for the story designers. And they don’t want the same thing to happen with the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.

In an interview on the CohhCarnage stream, quest designer Patrick K. Mills said that the main story of Cyberpunk 2077 will last a little shorter than the one in Witcher 3. The goal is for as many players as possible to experience the story as a whole, but Mills adds that players will have plenty of other content, tasks and activities to spend time on. Admittedly, they don’t yet have the exact number of hours it would take to complete the entire game.

PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 have been revealed, they are suspiciously low

CD Project RED has released the requested information on the PC requirements of the upcoming hit game Cyberpunk 2077. The news is great for PC gamers.

If you’re going to play the upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, CD Project has good news for you - the game shouldn’t be demanding - at least judging by the official requirements, minimum and recommended, that have just been released.

In short, the only thing worth noting about the minimum requirements is the recommendation to use an SSD. On the other hand, the recommended requirements are a bit ridiculous and include the Ryzen 3 3200G - a processor that costs around 800 kuna. Now, the CD Project did not say which settings this recommended configuration is for, but count that it is certainly not for anything above 1080p.

Also keep in mind that the game will have support for raytracing effects, so although the old GTX 1060 in theory supports raytracing, of course this card is not recommended to play with raytracing included.

Cyberpunk 2077 demonstrated his city and its crazy gangs

Night City and its surroundings from Cyberpunk 2077 at first glance seem like a compelling and rich place to shop, and we can’t wait to hook up with its gangs!

CD Project RED demonstrated its Cyberpunk 2077 probably the penultimate time before the game came out. The focus of this episode is the so-called Night City Wire was the city of Night City itself, as well as its surroundings. In the trailer shown, we see some of the architectural attractions of the city, the devastation around it, as well as the stratification where the poor are on the streets and the rich on top of tall buildings.

From the CD Project, they reiterated that Night City will be denser than the continent in the Witcher games. We will be able to explore it on foot and by vehicle, and a good part of the situation will take place at random. In the trailer we also have the opportunity to see some large locations, ie complexes of buildings in which some secrets will undoubtedly be hidden. You can find out more about Night City not only through the trailer via the nightcity.love website.

The second part of Night City Wire was dedicated to the gangs of the city itself. Throughout the game we will most likely meet all the gangs, for some we will work, and against some we will go to war. The main character will be a mercenary so he will not swear allegiance to any gang, but he will certainly be able to influence the power relations between them.

In total, we will see nine bands called in order: Animals, Aldecaldos, Maelstrom, The Mox, 6th Street, Tyger Claws, Valentinos, Voodoo Boys and Wraiths.

Isn’t there a graphics card that could spin Crysis Remastered in 4K30 at maximum detail?

Crysis Remastered is officially available as of today, and its maximum graphics setting is there to bother even the most capable hardware of today.

Which PC game is the most hardware demanding in 2020? Sure Microsoft Flight Simulator, right? Wrong - the answer is Crysis Remastered, a remaster of a 13 year old PC exclusive. Namely, the creator of the game's development leader, Steffen Halbig, told PC Gamer that there is currently no graphics card in the world that can chew Crysis Remastered in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second on the maximum graphics setting called "Can it run Crysis".

Sure, it’s all a marketing ploy, isn’t it? Because how is it possible for an old game remaster to be the most demanding PC game of today? This is probably some kind of deliberate slowdown sponsored by Nvidia that PC players cure their complexes by buying a card more expensive than a thousand euros…

I honestly don't understand the technical part of Crysis Remaster - we will wait for the Digital Foundry team to bring their analysis. However, the fact is that Crysis Remastered targets the floor with the most powerful configurations of today. With the RTX 2080Ti card and Core i9-9900 processor at 144op resolution, the framerate goes down to 30 fps.

Linus played the game before the official release, so at 4K resolution at High settings on the Titan RTX card he got about 40-50 frames per second. By switching to the “Can it run Crysis” setting, the framerate was halved to 22 fps. Slightly better is the new RTX 3080, which reaches 32 fps at 4K resolution and maximum settings.

So, the statement that there is no card that can spin Crysis Remastered in 4K30 has already been refuted. But maybe they meant 60? In any case, it is worth noting that Linus' performances were extracted while shooting the gameplay itself, and for the RTX 3080 series, no optimized drivers have been launched yet. In addition, Crysis Remastered did not have support for the DLSS technique at the time of recording. So the situation isn't as awful as it may seem at first - but if it's exaggerated, it probably is.

Fortnite: Save the World will no longer work on the Mac platform

A new development in the dispute between Epic Games and Apple has resulted in players on the Mac platform being left without access to the game they paid for.

The dispute between Epic Games and Apple over disobedience and the inability to make money without paying Apple's commission is now reflected to the detriment of users. Fortnite has not been able to play normally on the iOS platform for some time, but it is essentially a free game so players are not financially damaged because of it. But now, due to a quarrel between the two companies, the players who paid for the game have lost the ability to play Fortnite: Save the World component on the Mac platform.

Namely, Apple banned Epic from distributing updates for the game on Mac, so Epic decided to shut down servers for Mac players from September 23 this year. Fortunately for the users affected by this decision, Epic Games has promised to return the money spent on the game itself and microtransactions to everyone who has played it on Mac since September 17 last year. The refund will take until October 2.

Epic Games has told everyone affected by this to move to a non-Apple platform, where they can buy Fortnite: Save the World again. The good news for them is that in the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, they will be able to continue where they left off on the Mac, or automatically transfer all the progress made to another platform.

What was known has now been confirmed - Godfall is coming to us when the PlayStation 5 arrives

Fans of hacking opponents and gathering equipment will be able to play the first announced PlayStation 5 title after the release of the new Sony console, which will also be available for PC.

As expected, Godfall - the first PlayStation 5 game to be unveiled will be available upon release of the console. It arrives on November 12th in the countries where the PlayStation 5 first arrives, and then from November 19th. in the rest of the world as consoles arrive there as well. The PC version will also be available from November 12th in all markets with the proviso that you will need an Epic Games Store account.

For those who have forgotten, Godfall is an action RPG in which we chop up piles and piles of opponents to pick up better equipment. Here the camera will be behind the shoulders, and we will have five classes available to master. In addition to playing independently, the match will be able to be done in the company of three other people.

In case you missed the trailer showing the fight, we attach it once again.

Take a look at the secret mission of the new Call of Duty in Turkey - it's no secret at all

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has shown its gameplay. The mission in Turkey is typically explosive and action-packed.

We almost forgot - the new Call of Duty was shown yesterday on the PlayStation 5. It looks like every other Call of Duty ever, of course, but there is no denying that it has an enviable level of action.

On a mission at the Turkish airport, the Black Ops team makes a chaos, and we see some new additions to the gameplay, such as a slow-motion footage of sniper killings (borrowed from Sniper Elite) and hostage-taking as a shield. At least I think it's new - I really can't even remember after so many CODs.

The mission ends with a chase using a remote-controlled car and then we get the montage of the rest of the level from the single-player campaign. There will be shootings, there will be explosions, there will be like every Call of Duty so far.

The gameplay of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shown, the remaster of the first Spider-Man has been announced

Spider-Man fans will have plenty of fun this fall. Spider-Man: Miles Morales looks really good, and the remaster of the original 2018 game has been confirmed!

If Stan Lee was still with us, I have no doubt he would have offered in good spirits to do the narration for the first gameplay of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Unfortunately, Stana is no more and the original Spider-Man game remains one of his last cameo roles. But his legacy will live on, and I’m sure he would be proud of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

In that game, we learned from yesterday’s show, Miles Morales will face a famous villain named Tinkerer. He leads a group called Underground that seeks to steal the source of new energy NuForm, and Spider-Man is there to stop the bad guys in his neighborhood - Harlem.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on November 19 for the PlayStation 5, but also the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 5 will cost € 60 in the standard edition. If you purchase the PlayStation 4 version, you will be able to upgrade it to the PS5 version for free when you purchase the PS5 console.

But that's not all. There will be something called Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition priced at € 80. The Ultimate Edition also includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered - a 2018 remaster game. The remaster brings better character appearance, more natural animation, raytracing reflections, better lighting, more vehicles and people on the streets, a better distance view and support for playing at 60 frames per second. It also contains all previous DLC extensions for the game.

Now, that’s great news - for those who don’t have the original game. Namely, if you bought Spider-Man or its GOTY edition for PlayStation 4, you are not entitled to a free update to get the Remastered version. So, you can play the game on the PS5 - with graphics like on the PS4, and if you want a better version, you have to pay either 80 euros for Miles Morales Ultimate Edition or buy the same game again, only for PlayStation 5.

God of War is coming: Ragnarok

The continuation of the journey of Kratos and his son is scheduled for 2021 because that is when God of War: Ragnarok arrives.

We all know  how the 2018 God of War ended and we know that ending suggested a sequel more than anything in the history of God of War. After a long period of waiting, here is the official announcement of that sequel - it will be called God of War: Ragnarok!

For now, we know that the game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 console and that we will play it sometime during 2021. Kratos tells us, "You must prepare."

Hogwarts Legacy, the first big RPG in the world of Harry Potter, has been announced

Hogwarts magic arrives on current and future consoles. A poorly kept secret about an RPG title from the world of Harry Potter has finally been announced.

We've known for almost two years that we're getting an RPG title set in the world of Harry Potter. Now that game has finally been officially announced as Hogwarts Legacy. It will be an adventure set in a Hogwarts school during the 19th century. We will play with a character who discovers an unusual ability to practice ancient magic, and reportedly it will be up to him to decide whether to use that power for good or for evil.

From the trailer with which the game was announced, we can see that at Hogwarts we will take part in famous activities such as metlobes, magic duels, preparing potions, etc. Of course, there will be magical creatures of all kinds, from trolls to dragons.

Hogwarts Legacy is in development for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, and PC. We will play it in 2021.
