Blizzard will no longer run additional content for StarCraft 2

The Blizzard team said that after 10 years since the release of StarCraft 2, they are drawing the line and stop producing new content for the game.

StarCraft 2 is already ten years old and Blizzard believes it’s time to turn to the future of that SF series. With that in mind, they announced that they will no longer do additional content for the deuce. So, there will no longer be new War Chest, Commander and similar accessories that can be purchased later.

Of course, this doesn’t mean the end of Blizzard’s support for StarCraft 2 in general. The game will still receive corrections in the balance of that current season. Blizzard says they are aware that some players will not like it, but they believe that the move will be useful for the entire StarCraft series.

"We know some players have been looking forward to the content we're moving away from now, but the good news is that it will set us free so we can think about what's next, not just for StarCraft 2, but for the StarCraft universe as a whole." - they said from Blizzard.

Meet the Cyberpunk 2077 vehicles, they also have a hundred-year-old Porsche

The CD Project RED has revealed what classes of vehicles we can expect in the upcoming futuristic escapade called Cyberpunk 2077.

Shooting, talking and hacking will be the basic mechanics of Cyberpunk 2077, but they will all be connected by another activity - driving. The game will be driven from a first- or third-person perspective, that is, with a view from the cabin or outside. Six different classes of vehicles will be driven, in order: economy class, trucks, executive vehicles, sports cars, motorcycles and hypercars.

In addition to them, there will be one special category in the game, and that is Johnny Silverhand’s 100-year-old vehicle, the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 will be available in two ways: by purchase and theft. The purchased vehicles will be available to the player permanently, and he will be able to summon them at any time while on the street. Summoning vehicles works similarly to Witcher 3, but the CD Project promises that Cyberpunk vehicles will not appear on the roof like Roach's horse in the previous game.

It was also confirmed that there will be organized racing in the game, and the in-game car designer told players that one should definitely not go into those races without a weapon in the passenger seat.

One of the nice things about vehicles will be that the same vehicle models will differ in appearance depending on where you find them. For example, vehicles in the richer neighborhood will be new, but the same model in the poorer neighborhood will be modified and some parts of the cabin will be ripped out or replaced with "used".

CD Projekt RED also paid special attention to the sound of the vehicles themselves, which they recorded on real cars. As they say, even though it is a futuristic game, the vehicles themselves will not sound futuristic but rough, powerful and adrenaline-fueled.

The Arch motorcycle, developed by CD Projekt in collaboration with Keanu Reeves, a passionate motorcycle enthusiast, also has a special story.

The new generation of Destiny 2 on consoles will be available from December

Destiny 2 will receive free upgrades for ninth-generation consoles, but not immediately upon their launch but in December this year.

Destiny 2 will be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S consoles as soon as those consoles go on sale; but as a game for PS4 and XBO. Upgrade to the so-called. the next-gen version will come a month later - on December 8 this year for all three consoles, Bungie said.

The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will spin the next-gen version of Destiny 2 in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. On the Xbox Series S console, the game will go in 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

In addition to higher resolution and better performance, players can expect faster downloads and the ability to specify the Field of View option, similar to the PC version. All next-gen versions will have support for cross-gen multiplayer, meaning PS5 players will be able to play with PS4 players, and XS players with XBO players.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PC requirements have been posted, you will need an SSD

PC requests for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla have been released from Ubisoft. It is recommended that you install the game on a fast disk.

Ubisoft always does a particularly detailed job when PC gamers need to be told what hardware specifications they are looking for for their games. It is standard custom for games to have a minimum and recommended list of requirements, but Ubisoft goes a few steps further and comes with as many as 6-7 different configurations depending on the settings, target resolution and performance.

So it is with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a game that doesn’t support raytracing, but is still part of a series known for being extremely demanding primarily because of the Anvil engine that relies heavily on processors. And then there’s the ambition of the games in depicting a detailed world with a bunch of characters.

As AC Valhalla is based on an old mover, the game itself will not be terribly demanding. It will minimally require the oldest and weakest Ryzen processor and the fourth generation i5 processor, and will also be able to play on six-year-old graphics cards.

However, Ubisoft does not specify a configuration that could run the game in 4K resolution and 60 fps at maximum graphics quality settings. That's probably the RTX 3090. What would we do if the game had raytracing effects…

Basically, another curiosity is that SSDs are now everywhere listed under recommended, although not actually mandatory. And yes, the game will now make full use of DirectX 12, meaning it will only be able to run on Windows 10 operating systems, unlike the two-year-old Odyssey which still ran on Windows 7 and 8.

Here are all six configuration requirements:

Minimum for Low settings at 1080p at 30 fps:
  • CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 - 3.1 Ghz / i5-4460 - 3.2 Ghz
  • GPU: AMD R9 380 - 4GB / GeForce GTX 960 4GB
  • RAM: 8 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Disk: 50 GB HDD (SSD recommended)
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Recommended for High settings at 1080p at 30 fps:

  • RAM: 8 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Disk: 50 GB SSD
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)

  • RAM: 8 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Disk: 50 GB SSD
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Recommended for Very High settings at 1440p at 30 fps:
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X - 3.7 Ghz / i7 - 7700 - 3.6 Ghz
  • GPU: AMD Vega 56 - 8GB / GeForce GTX 1070 - 8GB
  • RAM: 16 GB (Dual-channel mode)
  • Disk: 50 GB SSD
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Recommended for Very High settings at 1440p at 60 fps:

Spider-Man's new assistant is a cat from a backpack!

The new Spider-Man will have an unexpected helper in its bag. It will be a yellow cat that will also work to eliminate New York villains.

One of the better jokes in The Simpsons was Homer's pig, which he once called "Spider-Pig." Pig is not part of the canon of the Spider-Man series itself, but that's why the next Spider-Man game will have Spider-Cat… or cat! However, the cat will also be called Spider-Man, not Spider-Cat.

This dagger cat will follow Miles Morales in a backpack and will jump out of it when it needs to hit opponents. He will also wear a Spider-Man mask, which is hilarious. Miles will meet the cat on a side quest, but her owner will then allow the cat to live its superhero life in Miles ’bag.

I can already see that some players will grumble about introducing the cat to the action game because how realistic is that !? And then again - is Spider-Man realistic?

Pac-Man Geo has come out, asking for 3 gigabytes of data to be downloaded

The new Pac-Man game appeared on mobile platforms, but was not well received at the start.

You can play Pac-Man Geo, an interesting combination of the cult game and Google Maps, on your mobile phones recently. In this game, Pac-Man levels are designed according to the actual streets of towns and villages taken from Google maps. The game is free and available on iOS and Android devices.

However, before you run it, know that by downloading the 70 megabyte app you only get the ability to play the tutorial. If you want full functionality, you will need to download 3.1 GB of data. It’s not scary, but the game servers are in trouble right now and many users are complaining that their game isn’t working at all. So it’s no surprise that Pac-Man Geo started with a pretty poor 2.9 rating on the Google Play Store.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be able to change the gender of the main character on your own

If you thought Ubisoft could no longer complicate the story of the Assassin’s Creed series, they have now decided that there will be two versions of the same canon.

All Assassin’s Creed series games to date have had male and female characters in lead or at least important roles at the same time. The upcoming game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will break that tradition because there will be a male and female version of the same character, Eivor, but of course - not at the same time. The player must choose one or the other, with the proviso that the gender of the character can change whenever he wants. But that's not all.

If you don’t want to choose one or the other, you’ll be able to let the game choose for you. In that case, part of the game will be played with the male version of Eivor, and part with the female, and the game will randomly choose when to play with whom. Even in this game mode the player will be free to change the gender of the character whenever he wants.

What will not change is the fact that the female and male versions of Eivor will be canon at the same time… although these characters do not exist separately at the same time. Maybe a little confusing for the complete story of the series itself, but hey - who else follows it other than Ubisoft?

See how the new Spider-Man manages in the first boss battle

Game Informer magazine brings a video of the gameplay from the introductory part of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the battle with Rhin.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man, Father Parker questioned an angry Rhino and put him in custody. However, a few months later, the big rhino is back on the streets. This time, Miles Morales has the duty to stop him, and Rhino will be his first boss opponent.

Miles ’clash with Rhino will be more direct and closer than Peter’s so don’t think the same tactics from the first game will apply against the same opponent. The fight will take place in several different rooms, and although we have two Spider-Man in the introductory announcement, it seems that the job of arranging Rhino will fall exclusively on the back of young Morales.
