PUBG becomes a Fantasy Battle Royale, wizards and pink unicorns arrive
No, you didn't read it wrong - PUBG will really get its Fantasy Battle Royale mode. Fortunately for all serious players - just as a joke for "April 1st."
Some will not joke this year about the so-called. April 1st, but there will be no PUBG Corporation crew among them. Specifically, PUBG will receive an event called Fantasy Battle Royale tomorrow that will allow it to play with different classes such as Wizard, Paladin, Barbarian and Ranger for a week. Each class starts the match with their specific weapons.
It will play on the map of Dragon's Isle which is actually Erangel, exclusively from a third party, in four-person teams - a maximum of 80 players per match. Friendship firing will be off and XP will not be counted. However, exclusive prizes will be won. The blue zone will move faster than in other modes and will do more damage.
Most importantly, there will be a motorcycle with a unicorn head.
If you're not in the mood for jokes like this, the good news is that Fantasy Battle Royale will be a fully optional event so you don't have to play it if you don't want to.
The release of Wasteland 3 was delayed for the end of summer
However, the Wasteland 3 tactical RPG will not be played during the spring this year, but from the end of the eighth month.
We have the first significant delay in the release of one game due to the pandemic situation. The post-apocalyptic Wasteland 3, which we have been playing since May 19th, will be delayed by a good three months. The new release date is now August 28, 2020.
The head of the inXile entertainment studio said the work from home staff presented some logistical challenges in completing the game, so the decision was made to delay the game's release. This should give the team more time to implement any updates and revisions based on feedback after recent beta testing.
Valorant is starting testing soon, you can apply
The Riot Games competitive shooter will soon have his first closed test, and you still have to sign up to participate.
PC players will get a chance to premiere Valorant, the new 5v5 shooter of League of Legends creators, next week. The game will be closed beta testing on 4/4, and with luck, maybe you can access it. All you need is the following:
- Create your own Riot account
- Link your Riot account to your Twitch account
- When the closing beta goes, follow the highlighted streams of Valorant on Twitch
It has not been decided yet when this testing will take place. It is only known that the progress made will not be possible to save for the full version of the game, which should follow this summer. However, all of the Valorant points you buy in beta will be able to transfer to the full release of the game.

Google will cancel its jokes for April 1st due to corona virus
No joke - Google will not joke with the rest of the world on April 1st this Wednesday.
For the last few years, Google has been the frontrunner for online jokes. on the first of April. We found their jokes interesting because they were often related to gaming. Last year, for example, they introduced playing the legendary Snake on Google Maps, and in 2014, the Pokemon Challenge was presented, from which it ultimately derived Pokemon Go.
Unfortunately for jokers and jokers, Google has announced that it will not crack any jokes this year for 1. 4. This Wednesday, it will break tradition to indicate the severity of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. As they say, their goal is to be useful to people at the moment, so they will keep all the jokes for next year.
It remains to be seen how many other companies will lead by the example of Google. On the one hand, we all need some humor in this time. But on the other hand, we are witnessing a large spread of misinformation, so a day aimed at spreading false reports does not sound like a smart idea at the moment.
Admittedly, announcing that new games are coming to their Stage from Google would be a good joke.
Nintendo is reportedly preparing a big celebration for Super Mario's 35th birthday
According to unofficial information, Nintendo is planning to launch most of the older games from the Mario series to Switch, marking the series' 35th birthday.
Nintendo's most famous character is celebrating 35 years of (independent) existence this year. It would be doubtful if Nintendo releases any new Super Mario games on this occasion, and none are currently publicly disclosed. There is little to say about the potential return of Paper Mario, but the VGC site claims that with the new Paper Mario game on the Switch, a whole host of older Mario titles will appear.
It's not said what the game is about, but the catalog is really wide, and no one would argue that we get Super Mario Galaxy games, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 3D Land on the Switch. It has just been said that in addition to the new games, the animated movie Super Mario will be announced and the opening of the Nintendo World Amusement Park.
It all sounds convincing, but it's not official. If that happens, Nintendo is likely to reveal it in a special edition of its Nintendo Direct show.

We are getting a comic book based on the Horizon Zero Dawn game template
Following the news that this PlayStation 4 exclusive is coming to our PCs, another one arrives - Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a comic book action set within the game world.
Horizon Zero Dawn is a very successful PlayStation 4 exclusive. She arrived on the console in 2017 and has earned many positive reactions in her relatively short period. It was recently announced that it will hit computers this year.
Now we also know that a comic strip modeled on Horizon Zero Dawn will be made. Comic book company Titan Comics has confirmed that it will be produced under their control. The action will take place after the one in the game is completed. The main protagonist will be Talanah, a strong and determined hunter who will try to find her meaning after Aloy's disappearance.
The first issue of the comics is due out during the seventh month. More specifically, the release date is July 22, and should be found in UK outlets. It is not known whether it will be possible to buy and read it online, but nowadays everything is possible and so on.

The Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 was briefly delayed by corona virus
Fallout 76 suffers from a number of problems per se, so it is definitely the last game in the world that still needs delays and updates that should be fixed.
Few Fallout 76 coronavirus players were greeted in a humorous mood collecting supplies of toilet paper. But in Bethesda, the situation is not humorous, since they are still slowly organizing work from home. Accordingly, they have delayed the release of the Wastelanders Update for Fallout 76 for a week, specifically until 4/14.
They state that the reason for this is the inability to carry out all the necessary tests in the current conditions of reduced human interactions. They say they are doing everything they can to minimize the delay and that they can't wait for everyone to play the refreshed Fallout 76. In addition, they used the Twitter post to thank the fans for their support, as well as the fact that they kept playing all this time.
We remind you that Wastelanders will finally bring NPC characters into play, a Fallout 3-like dialogue system, a better structure of old ones, but also a bunch of new missions, new factions and locations, and many more improvements. The intention is to turn the game into a much more recognizable Fallout experience and thus interest many players who were disappointed with the game's initial state.
Quantum Error is a cosmic horror shooter that arrives on both the PS5 and PS4
Slowly but surely, we are finding out more and more games are coming to the upcoming PS5, and in this case it is a shooter with elements of the popular cosmic horror.
TeamKillMedia is a small independent studio that has chosen to specialize in horror games. Not long ago, Steam's debut, a first-person, first-person horror film called Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris. Despite mediocre ratings and numerous bugs, the positive reviews were at the expense of the atmosphere, the visuals and the Dark Souls-like story. This is something that the team, in a somewhat futuristic environment, will try to replicate with the game Quantum Error.
When one mentions cosmic horror, it's hard not to think of the world-famous works of H.P. Lovecraft. Although there is no word yet on whether the game officially relies on this mythology, the short trailer shows how she is an obvious role model. The action takes place in 2109, and it appears that we will play the role of a soldier in a secret facility where things have gone wrong. Of course, given that this is a shooter, conflicts with bizarre beings are to be expected, but there are also sequences where the primary enemy is fear of the unknown.
So far, there is no talk of an official release date, but we know how the game arrives on the PS4, as well as the PS5 and how it was made in Unreal Engine. We can only hope that the final product will be more polished than their past game, but they also give the trailer a hint.

Burnout Paradise will light the road on the Nintendo Switch console
The Burnout series is coming to Nintendo's platform for the first time with the acclaimed 2008 game.
Electronic Arts has launched just a few games so far for the Nintendo Switch platform. With Fife's infamous reissues, other titles like Fea and Unravel were easily ignored. However, something better is coming now. Old but good old - Burnout Paradise Remastered.
Burnout's first appearance on the Nintendo Console will be complete - the Remastered version arrives with all DLC add-ons such as The Cops and Robbers, Burnout Bikes, Big Surf Island and Legendary Cars. Interestingly, the game on the Switch will run at a smooth 60 frames per second.
The release date has not yet been set, it is only known that it will be sometime during 2020.
Get ready for a free trial - Resident Evil Resistance opens its doors today
Resident Evil 3's online multiplayer component, called Resistance, will be able to play for free across all platforms this weekend.
Most Resident Evil fans are expecting a rework of part three and a reunion with Nemesis these days. However, with Resident Evil 3 instead of Mercenaries mode comes a brand new multiplayer component called Resistance. This is an asymmetric multiplayer in which four players try to survive through teamwork while one player puts obstacles in their way. Obstacles mean zombies and other mutant monsters.
As of today, this mod can be tested for free through open beta testing. It will last until the release of Resident Evil 3 next Friday, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Testing on consoles is already starting at eight in the morning, and on PC (Steam) it will start in the afternoon from 5 pm. The good news is that the installation is not large but weighs a reasonable 10 gigabytes.
Resident Evil 3 may be late in physical form, but there is no delay
Capcom have confirmed that there will be no delay in the release of Resident Evil 3, but the game may still be delayed for some.
Similar to the case of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, another Japanese hit Resident Evil 3 will not experience a delay due to a coronavirus pandemic. However, even though the game is scheduled, on 3 April, Capcom was told that delivery of the game in physical release, on disk, would be delayed in Europe.
This means that it is safer for you to buy the digital version of the game, as stores might get the game late. The official announcement does not indicate which European countries are referring to it, but because of the closed shops, it is clear to everyone that Nemesis could even be late for delivery to stores on the day it was released, which is now highly questionable.

BioShock, Borderlands and XCOM games are coming to the Nintendo Switch
2K Games has announced that their hit series is coming to Nintendo's platform, all for the first time.
2K Games is one of the publishers that has so far supported Nintendo's Switch platform with several games, including Civilization 6 and NBA 2K titles. They liked it, so they decided to support the console with a bunch of older titles from the BioShock, Borderlands and XCOM series. Almost all of the games in those series, except Borderlands 3 and the first XCOM, will be available on Switch from this year.
BioShock: The Collection will include the original game, the sequel, and BioShock Infinite. The package will include all the DLC add-ons for these games, and all games can be purchased separately. All come out on May 29 this year.
Borderlands: Legendary Collection will include Borderlands GOTY, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-sequel. All three games will have the option of playing locally in two in split-screen mode. Released on May 29 this year.

Get World War Z for free and hit zombies with your friends
Cooperative shooting zombies are waiting for you to kidnap and kill boredom in the company of friends.
The coronavirus pandemic has nailed us to our own homes. As a result, many publishers provide free video games for free, and some even choose to share it with a hungry nation. World War Z falls into the latter category and is waiting for you to play it, if you haven’t already.
From today until April 2, you can get World War Z for free. All you have to do is go to the Epic Games gaming platform, then navigate to the store and click on the said game. After that, it will come to your video game library and you will then be able to download it easily.
In addition to co-op, WWZ also offers multiplayer with several modes. Also, players can choose from several classes, with rich weapon content.
Check out the official gameplay review for the upcoming cyberpunk RPG Gamedec
For the released Kickstarter campaign, the developers have also prepared a ten-minute gameplay preview of one of the worlds within which we will solve problems.
Last year, we witnessed the announcement of a cyberpunk RPG by Gamedec, which set off on Kickstarter to receive other improvements planned for the game with the help of the community, with the help of the community. For one RPG, the development studio is asking for a modest $ 50,000 with the help of which the game should then come out in month 12 if there is no delay.
For those who have forgotten what the title is - this is an isometric cyberpunk RPG within which there is no fight. We will play the role of a private detective who solves crimes in virtual worlds, and every decision has consequences for the further course of the game and for the character's character. Check how it looks on the go in the attached gameplay view.
Correct tactical mistakes by manipulating time in Iron Danger
Real-time action, fight moves and time manipulation with a teaspoon of Finnish folklore and steampunk fantasies make for a freshly available Iron Danger title.
How nice it would always be to know the outcome of the battle in advance. There would be no mistake, everyone would be happy and everything else that goes with it. Something similar can be experienced in a freshly released Iron Danger adventure. Specifically, this combines tactical combat with time manipulation moves, so different outcomes can be tried.
Of course, infinite manipulation cannot be done because it would not make sense, so it is only possible to take five seconds to get the best result for our two characters we have in control. As development studies say, tactical combat is almost like a puzzle to solve for a perfect outcome.
In addition to the interesting combat system, Iron Danger also represents a world that combines steampunk fantasy whose inhabitants are inspired by Finnish folklore. In addition, each fight will have its value because the grind does not exist because progression is controlled by an action that lasts for 15+ hours.

It is possible that a Crysis remaster is being prepared
The 2007 cult shooter may be back in a refreshed release on a newer version of CryEngine. There are no certificates yet, but the clues are there.
Last summer, there was talk of a potential remaster or remake of the original Crysis, an SF shooter that had been a benchmark for PCs on hardware for years. The reason for these stories was the demo video above for CryEngine launcher version 5.6. Specifically, at the end of that video, along with music from Crysis, we saw some footage of a tropical island, but in an even more detailed release than in 2007.
Nothing was confirmed or announced then - and it still has not. However, a new promotional video for CryEngine was released yesterday and there is something weird about it. This is a preview of games made on CryEngine between 2011 and 2020. The preview does not include another game made on CryEngine - the original Crysis, but is shown at the end of the video, without stating it. A well-known scene is shown on the game introduction, this time in the original release of the second version of CryEngine.
Of course, this is no confirmation that the remaster is coming, but it is worth noting that the Electronic Arts publishing company recently announced that it will launch a series of remasters during 2020. And it is Crysis that they own.

God of War * may * come to PC
One interesting detail may suggest that God of War is the next big Sony game to come out on the PC platform.
Horizon Zero Dawn is finally coming to PC after three years of exclusivity for the PlayStation 4 console this summer. Although Sony has said that this does not mean that all PS4 exclusives will end up on PCs, it is logical to expect that this will not be a single exception but more PS4 games will appear on PCs. The likely candidate is this year's Dreams, but now a small hint has emerged suggesting that the 2018 God of War could end up on PC as well.
Specifically, the "Only on PlayStation" banner that highlights exclusivity for the Sony platform has recently disappeared from the US site of the game. And he specifically only disappeared from that game. For example, if you go to the pages of other PS4 exclusives such as Marvel's Spider-Man or Bloodborne, you'll still find the exclusivity mark there. We know it's not an indication to be blindly trusted, but God of War as the choice for the next PC game would make sense.
Firstly, it's a highly regarded game, just like Horizon Zero Dawn, and secondly, it's fully owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Third, it's a secret that God of War will get its sequel, just like Horizon, and Sony plans to attract an even larger base of players interested in Kratos' adventures.
UPDATE: Localized God of War pages still contain "Only on PlayStation". It appears that the inscription on the American site has not disappeared, but it has not actually been there for the last two years. So, it is possible that this is misinterpreted information and that it ultimately means nothing. Although, it's not a completely opposite piece of information to say that God of Wara won't be on PC.

Sony will slow you down to downloading games on the PlayStation 4 to reduce your internet load
Sony Interactive Entertainment has been notified that downloading games on Playstation consoles will be slower in the future.
The PlayStation 4 console is not exactly capable of taking full speed data transfer over the Internet, especially when working on a wireless network. But over the next few weeks, maybe even months, download speeds on the PlayStation 4 console will be even slower in Europe.
President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, said that Sony has a duty to contribute to maintaining the stability of the Internet at a time when more and more people are practicing social distance and thus making more use of the Internet. Sony, in cooperation with Internet service providers, will therefore restrict traffic in terms of digital game downloads, additional content, updates, etc.
They acknowledge that players may see slower downloading of games, but ask for understanding and emphasize that this will not diminish their ability to enjoy "robust gameplay".
The Formula One virtual race was watched by 350,000 spectators
Bahrain's grand prize had to be postponed, so F1 leaders agreed with drivers that they would take the virtual version of the race.
Last weekend, a virtual competition was held in F1 2019 to replace the cancellation of the real one. Although it was originally promised that virtual Formula 1 would be ridden by all drivers of the actual competition, it still did not happen. Of the Formula One active drivers, we could only see Land Norris and Nicolas Latifi. Along with them were some other names from the lower Formula and esport world rankings and former F1 drivers and other celebrities.
Mclaren driver Lando Norris shared this event on his Twitch profile. At one point, it had 104,000 viewers, and its visibility was regularly maintained at some one hundred thousand. Apart from it, live streaming was made possible by the official profiles of Formula One, Sky Sport and other driver-players. Overall, F1 2019 was watched by 350,000 people across all channels, making it one of the most watched video games of the day.
Bahrain's inaugural virtual Grand Prix was won by Guanyu Zhou. The Formula 2 driver competed for Renault and won the race very nicely. It should be noted that the race was not held at 50% of the total laps, but the organizers decided to halve that decision, so only 14 of the 28 originally planned had been driven.
Most reactions to the virtual race are positive, but it must be admitted that the Codemasters team has been a bit embarrassed. Various bugs and crashes have caused problems for many drivers. Lando Norris spent more time trying to start the game than driving the race.
Since the coronavirus situation is not waning, a new race is scheduled in two weeks. So on April 5th we will be able to enjoy the Grand Prix of Australia. We believe that at least twice as many Formula 1 drivers will be driving then in Bahrain.
Sam Fisher is in good shape ahead of his guest appearance at Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Ubisoft has revealed all the details surrounding the Deep State expansion for the stumbling Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which will also be the second attempt at the game.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint will attempt to correct errors half a year ago today. Specifically, an update of version 2.0 is coming for the game with new features that include a welcome guest - Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell.
The biggest change will be the introduction of three types of Ghost Experience, namely how the game can be played. The first is Breakpoint as it has been so far, and the second is Immersive Experience, which removes the lottery system from the game and the weapon rating, ie the gear score / level system.
In the third, Custom Experience mode, the player can set the game himself, for example, it will be possible to disable the health regeneration option, include the loss of ammunition during the reload until the batch is empty, adjust the mini-map interface, etc. There will also be two separate settings for game weight - the challenge of the enemy and the challenge of tactizing that affects the amount of things a player can carry, etc.
All of this will be able to change at any time while playing and the settings will not be shared with other players in the team.
As far as new content is concerned, ten new missions are coming with Sam Fisher, and they will focus on stealth performance, hiding in the dark and sneaking around. These missions will be available to those who have Year One Pass or buy expansion separately. But there is also good news - the first two missions will be available to all players, and the rest will be playable if you have someone with a purchased expansion on the team. So not all players need to have expansion to play it.
Other additions will include two new classes for PvE and PvP modes, Echelon and Engineer, while PvP mode Ghost War will receive four new folders and a voting option for the next folder.
By the way, all of the above will be able to play for free this weekend. Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be temporarily free to try on March 26-29 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
World of Warcraft offers twice as much XP as an incentive to stay home
Blizzard has opted to give World of Warcraft players an additional incentive to stay home during coronavirus by offering double XP for a full month.
Wherever I turn I listen to how difficult it is for people to take isolation and stay at home because of the coronavirus epidemic. Of course, it's hard not to be able to see family and friends, but I often come to the conclusion that these people are definitely not gamers. We somehow endure this period because we probably have a backlog of unfinished games with a few years of isolation. And now World of Warcraft is giving us another reason.
Specifically, for the next month, this game offers double experience points from all sources. With that extra XP, Blizzard calls the Winds of Wisdom the home of you to help prevent coronaviruses from spreading. They say that with the help of the same it is possible to quickly reach a level adequate for the new raid.
Some players say it is now possible to progress from 50 to 80 levels in just two to three hours of gameplay. You can get double XP in all versions of the game except Classic, where they still wanted to stay true to the original WoW long grind experience.

The entire Resident Evil 3 will be able to finish again with a knife
Unlike Resident Evil 2, the knife in Resident Evil 3 will not be a consumable item but the most reliable weapon in the game.
Ever since the Resident Evil series has since been around, it's been a challenging idea to end the entire game using the weakest weapon in the game - the knife. Almost all games in the series had a knife as a weapon, most often as a last resort in case a player runs out of bullets and has to fight the enemy in order to continue playing. But the change then came in 2019 with the revision of Resident Evil 2. The knife was present there too, but it was not unbearable but broke after several enemies.
Such a design will not be used in the upcoming Resident Evil 3. As game producer Peter Fabiano told Game Informer, the knife in this game will always be an indestructible weapon, regardless of its weight setting. Moreover, Capcom internally tested whether it was possible to finish the game using just a knife and came to the conclusion that it was. They just warn the players that it's not going to be easy, primarily because of Nemesis.
In addition, Resident Evil 3 features some of the worst enemies of the entire series, such as Hunter and Brain Sucker. It will certainly not be easy to cut them with a knife, as a close encounter with them can end in instant dying.
Polish government opens Minecraft server for children who need to stay in homes
The ruling furniture in Poland has designed an initiative to capture young people as they are forced to stay in their homes.
In Poland, just like in many other countries in the world, teaching is done online because schools are temporarily closed. However, the Polish government has decided to address another problem - the preoccupation of children while teaching is ongoing.
To this end, they launched an initiative called Grarantanna in which they offered various educational activities such as online quizzes, puzzles, puzzles, etc. As part of this, an unusual idea came up - the government opened a server for Minecraft for children in Poland.
On this server, intended for creative play, in a 60 × 60 folder, young players are encouraged to jointly construct as creative a structure as possible. All materials are unlimited, and those who build with the highest imagination will be rewarded in some way. The competition started yesterday and will last for a week.
This is not the first time that Minecraft has been used for educational purposes. The game already has its own version of Education Edition, and at the time of coronavirus, it is an increasingly common destination for those who may not socialize in reality.

Mortal Kombat: Complete Edition removed from Steam
The reason for Mortal Kombat's removal from Steam is unknown, but Internet detectives have indulged in various "conspiracy theories".
Mortal Kombat: Complete Edition was exclusive to consoles before it saw the light of day on computers. The game originally came out for the 2011 PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Two years later, she appeared on Steam. The title NetherRealm Studio has arrived on PC in full release and with all the accessories that were on the consoles. Unfortunately, as of yesterday, it can no longer be purchased on Steam. Those who have had the game before will be able to keep it and play as much as they like.
The reason why this happened is not officially known, but there are rumors that it has something to do with Freddie Kruger. What is it about? Well, there is a possibility, which has not yet been confirmed, that they removed the game from Valve's platform because of the rights to the said character. The rights to the popular dream walker have returned from the hands of Warner Bros. to those of Wes Craven, his creator. Of course, there are other speculations such as, say, expiration of musical rights in the game.
Of course, this is not the first time a game in the series has been removed from Steam. The same thing happened in 2015 to The Mortal Kombat: Arcade Collection, when the eponymous title was removed from the platform mentioned. Still, the reason was brief and clear at the time - all games that were supported by Windows Live had died.
Call of Duty Warzone is growing day by day, played by 30 million players
A week after earning an impressive 15 million players, Warzone has now been able to gather as many as twice as many people.
Only two weeks have passed since the launch of Call of Duty Warzone. It's a free battle royale game from the creators of Call of Duty Modern Warfare and the second in the series. The coronavirus pandemic has nailed people to couches, which benefits the entire gaming industry, and therefore this game.
Call of Duty Warzone played 30 million players, and it took him ten days. Last week, that number was 15 million, and now it has doubled. Warzone became extremely popular, as evidenced by the fact that he came to this goal faster than Fortnite. The Epic Games game only arrived after two months. Apex Legends, on the other hand, reached up to 25 million players at the end of the first week of release, which would roughly put them at odds.
It will be interesting to see how long this Activision title will grow before declining. Apex Legends, for example, quickly reached the figure of 50 million players and then stagnated slightly. Admittedly, he ended the year at 70 million legends, but the fact is that the demand for them was not the same as the one at the beginning.
Nintendo players are being barred by PlayStation 4 players from doing Super Mario games
Nintendo is overseeing Sony's Dreams game and is seeking to ban creators from creating content that includes Nintendo's characters.
In a game called Dreams for PlayStation 4, it is possible to make games, scenes, characters and music according to original ideas. However, the most popular creations in the game include famous characters: Spider-Man, Crasha Bandicoot, Super Mario and others. While the creation of such characters is generally forbidden, the moderation itself is not rigorous, so deleting the content is the only complaint of others. And that's exactly what happened in Super Mario's case.
The user, nicknamed Piece_of_Craft, was thus removed from Dreams by his Super Mario creation, and the notice explicitly states that this occurred at the request of Nintendo. Fortunately, the creator of the content in question will not suffer the consequences because Nintendo has no legal basis to sue. However, the fact that they care about protecting their own characters is shown by the extent to which someone from Nintendo is watching what players create in the PlayStation game console.
Unfortunately, this case confirms that all those who seek to make Super Mario games at Dreams will fight the windmill in the future. Too bad, that experimentation could have given rise to some interesting ideas.

Doom Eternal smashed the first day on Steam and the Stream, but a major miss was made
Bethesda and id Software may be happy - Doom Eternal has attracted twice as many players to PC than Doom from 2016.
As for quarantine, and because of the hunger for high-budget games, Doom Eternal achieved a great result yesterday on launch day itself. According to statistics on Steam, the new Doom finished yesterday among the ten most played games with more than 100,000 players playing the game simultaneously. By comparison, the 2016 Doom played a maximum of 44,000 players at one time.
To make things even better for Doom Eternal and id Software, the game was also extremely popular on Twitch - over 115,000 people watched it. Bethesda has no direct earnings from this, but it is clear that interest in the brutal Doom is quite high.
But the launch of the game did not turn out to be the most fun for Bethesda. By someone's inattention, the game was launched in the PC version with the DRM-free version of the executable file. Since Doom Eternal uses Denuvo's protection, it turns out that id Software left the door open for pirating its game.
Rainbow Six Siege gets a new arcade mode
This limited event will be open to all players who jump into the game in a given period.
Ubisoft has promised players at the recently concluded Six Invitational 2020, the largest Rainbow Six Siege competition, that it will begin to introduce some arcade modes into the game. It's part of a plan to let all R6 Siege users relax after more competitive matches. It was then promised that several would come out throughout the year, but only on weekends.
Rainbow Six Siege got a new mod today. This is a Golden Gun playing 5v5 on a reworked Oregon map. Everyone gets a gun that has only one bullet inside the cartridge. The peculiarity of this is that the player immediately kills the opponent, regardless of whether they hit him in the arm, leg or head. However, knives and the special skills available to operatives will still be able to be used. Why available? Quite simply - some had to be thrown out because they would bring an imbalance into the game itself.
The Golden Gun will be in operation by the 23rd of this month. In addition to the fun of gameplay, everyone will be able to buy gold paint for the D-50 gun. Ubisoft says they are eagerly awaiting the reactions of the players to see if it is worth inserting mods like this or if they will have to opt for others.
Teamfight Tactics, an auto chess from LoL, is also available on cell phones
The popular auto chess League of Legends has come out of beta after it arrived on mobile devices earlier this month.
A closed beta of Teamfight Tactics for mobile was announced during the second month. For the past month, only select people have had access to this League of Legends auto chess car to give them thoughts and criticisms. The game has now come out of beta in full and everyone has gained access to the same.
Teamfight Tactics is available on Android and iOS mobile phones and can be downloaded through Google Play and the App Store. The TFT mobile app will be able to connect to your main Riot user profile. All purchases, levels, and rankings will be transferred to one or the other, depending on the device on which you play.
Still, there is one small change from the PC version. The currency used to buy the items will not be in the form of Riot Points, but the one available in the country you play from. Also, crossplay will be enabled, meaning players on mobile versions can play against those on computers.

Two great Tomb Raider games are shared free of charge
Visit the tombs for free this weekend and avoid a bunch of deadly traps from two views - one over your shoulder and the other from an isometric perspective.
If you feel like having an adventure event this weekend and staying within your own four walls, Square Enix has prepared two Tomb Raider games for you - for free. Although these are relatively older titles, you can download them completely free of charge on Steam and they remain in your collection permanently, but you must do so until Tuesday, March 24, which means - you have time.
A significant part of the gift package is Tomb Raider from 2013, an action adventure re-invented by Lara Croft as Tomb Raider. The game was extremely praised at the time and the reboot of the series was very well received.
Another Tomb Raider gift game puts you in an isometric perspective - in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris you can avoid the traps on your own or in company, as it is a title that can be played cooperatively.
So if you don't know what to play this weekend without having started the games mentioned above, enjoy two virtual adventures. After all, the games will be account-related so you can play them later.
Formula 1 will still be driven ... virtually
Virtual races will be held instead of those postponed and canceled, which means that we will be watching such exhibitions for a minimum of six months.
The spread of coronavirus has put an end to all important activities in the sports world. The Australia Grand Prix was due to ride last weekend but was canceled for a well-known reason. Long before that, the GP of China was delayed, and the same treatment was experienced by Bahrain, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Spain. Monaco was originally supposed to be delayed, but late last night it was decided that it would be canceled.
That means Formula One fans have run out of racing by the end of the fifth month. Still, F1 made sure fans didn't get bored during this period. It was agreed with all riders that they would virtually race at the times in which they would otherwise be delayed / canceled. The same will be flown in F1 2019, with Bahrain first scheduled this Sunday.
The first virtual race of the season should have all the drivers in the role of players, although the possibility of some famous faces from F1 esports is mentioned. Because not all F1 2019 drivers play, everyone will be able to choose their own aids to help get to grips with the new environment. The races will be run at 50% of the total laps, which means that the Bahrain Grand Prize will have 28 of them. Qualifications will be in full swing or shortened.
It should take about an hour and a half. The virtual season will air on Formula One official profiles - Twitch, Facebook and YouTube. Trails such as those in Vietnam and the Netherlands will be replaced with alternate ones, as the two are not within the F1 2019 game. This event is expected to last at least until the end of the fifth month, with the possibility of an extension, but it will all depend on the coronavirus situation.
The future of Rainbow Six Siege could be in little trouble
The team working on Rainbow Six Siege will be working from home in the next few weeks, and probably months, to prevent the spread of the infection. Will this lead to the downfall of Ubisoft's title?
Rainbow Six Siege is set to become a classic esport title next year. It was promised that the competitive season would last for nine months, with a break of two months before the World Cup, while the development team would focus on improving the playing experience. Therefore, the arrival of new operatives would be reduced to four instead of eight per year. But we may still have to endure major changes.
Reason? The coronavirus pandemic already known to everyone. Rainbow Six Siege's official Twitter profile has issued a statement saying the development team will work from home. All the updates that have already been made are coming into play as planned. However, there is a very good chance that all future content will be questioned. It is quite clear that workers at home do not have the same equipment as at work and it is logical that there will be some problems.
The last major update was the arrival of the new season, and thus the entry into the fifth year of Ubisoft's title. New operatives and a redesigned map have arrived and several changes have been made, related to the gaming experience and certain patches. Two new specials are scheduled for release next season, while the last two will start releasing one each. Big changes are set to take place in the Rainbow Six Siege over the next year, and now they are in trouble.
The coronavirus pandemic is not calming down and it is a question of when. Because of this, many video game creators and publishers are forced to send people home to work from there, provided they have all the right equipment. In addition, conventions, esports competitions and conferences are canceled. On the other hand, staying home makes the gaming industry a growing interest in these difficult times.

The Bleeding Edge lunatics will be ready to fight soon
Next week, a multiplayer scam arrives on PC and Xbox One to counter some of the most bizarre weirdos you can imagine.
Watch Dogs and The Stanley Parable are free to share
A new round of free-to-play games has arrived at the Epic Games Store. This time it's a mix of hacking and philosophizing.
Thursday afternoon - nowhere else, everyone is obviously at the Epic Games Store. There's a new round of games to pick up for free, this time with the deadly serious Watch Dogs and the hilariously humorous The Stanley Parable.
Watch Dogs is, of course, Ubisoft's open-world game where you hack the world around you with your mobile phone. It's now six years old, and it's not the first time Ubisoft has given it to PC gamers - it was shared for free at the end of 2017.
The Stanley Parable is one of the indie pearls of the PC platform and a game that I recommend to anyone who loves unexpected stories and crazy narrative styles in games. This year, the game should get its Ultra Deluxe Edition with new content, but you won't definitely regret playing this 2013 original.
The next Call of Duty is reportedly a reboot of Black Ops
Unconfirmed rumors have emerged about Project Zeus - the new Call of Duty that will reportedly be the new start of Black Ops.
Although Call of Duty has already received a "new game" at Warzone this year, another of course is coming to us in the fall. And watch out now, it could be called Call of Duty: Black Ops. Yes, we know this game already exists, but after last year's CoD: Modern Warfare - nothing is impossible.
Basically, the famous rumor spread on The Gaming Revolution claims that the new Black Ops will actually be a return to the very beginning, or rather a reboot of the series. It will reportedly focus on the events of the Cold War and the Vietnam War. We will reportedly see the story from a number of different perspectives, including US soldiers and Viet Cong members. The characters Alex Mason and Frank Woods will return, but their voices will be lent to new actors.
All of this somehow coincides with the direction that Modern Warfare is already heading, and the direction that has been well received by fans. It wouldn't surprise us that this is true, because Modern Warfare and Black Ops are the only CoD series that have been well received - Advanced and Infinite Warfare have never been particularly popular anyway.
Avatar movie recording is paused
In the highly anticipated sequence of events, production of new films, and probably games from the Avatar series, was temporarily halted.
Unsurprisingly, the fear of the spread of coronaviruses further suspended the filming of the Avatar series. Producer Jon Landau confirmed this in the midst of filming in New Zealand alone. Avatar has thus joined many other films and series whose production was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
For Avatar, this could be an extra jolt as more than ten years have been waiting for the sequel to the first film, and it has been delayed so many times that even director James Cameron himself cannot keep up. Technically speaking, this may not have any consequences at all on the premiere date, as the movie should only arrive at the end of 2021. However, it should come as no surprise to us that all Avatars are ultimately moved in a year, and when we say all, then we all mean Avatar 5 which would then come in 2028 - who is alive, who is dead.
Otherwise, one should not forget that accompanying Avatar video games are in the pipeline. More specifically, one such is being developed by the Ubisoft Massive team, the creators of the Division Series. While this delay probably doesn't bother them much, it's to be expected that we won't see this game before we see the Avatar 2 movie.
A trailer has appeared that shows the end demo of the Resident Evil 3
The Resident Evil 3 demo is out tomorrow, but a trailer has already emerged that, among other things, reveals the return of one of the characters from Resident Evil 2.
The Resident Evil 3 demo officially leaves tomorrow at 5pm for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But it has already appeared in some markets, such as New Zealand. We've learned that an average of fifteen minutes of gameplay is played by a demo, and that Nemesis does indeed appear several times over that duration. The demo for Xbox One weighs 7.47 gigabytes.
At the end of the demo version, players are waiting for a new game trailer, and in the trailer some scenes that were not in the original game. If you do not want to discover anything earlier, best bypass the video below.

Echo is the new heroine in Overwatch
Two years after its first screening, a robotic heroine named Echo is about to join the cast of playable characters in Overwatch.
The PlayStation 5 console's specifications have been released, it's weaker than the Xbox Series X, but the disk is faster
Sony has announced the technical details of the hardware included in the PlayStation 5 console. By most specifications, the console is weaker than Microsoft's competitors, but has a faster SSD.
Sony held a rather dry "launch" of the PlayStation 5 console, from which we eventually pulled only the technical specifications. It is not surprising that this presentation was intended for developers at the GDC convention that was canceled due to the coronavirus. In any case, here are the most important hardware details of the console itself:
- CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores @ 3.5GHz (Variable Frequency)
- GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs @ 2.23GHz (variable frequency)
- Memory: 16GB GDDR6 / 256-bit
- Memory bandwidth: 448GB / s
- Disk: Custom 825GB SSD
- I / O: 5.5GB / s (Raw), 8-9GB / s (Compressed)
- Extensions: NVMe SSD Slot
- HDD Support: USB HDD Support
- Scanner: 4K UHD Blu-ray Drive
Even if you don't understand the technical stuff, it's laymanlike to notice that the PlayStation 5 on paper is hardware-less than the Xbox Series X console in aspects of the processor running at a slightly lower clock speed, two teraflops weaker in terms of computing power, slower in bandwidth memory and has a smaller SSD capacity - 825 GB.
However, there is one thing where the PlayStation 5 is at an advantage, and that is the speed of the disc. While the Xbox Series X disk is capable of processing 2.4 GB / s of raw data, the PlayStation 5 is twice as efficient at 5.5 gigabytes per second. It's the same with compressed data, 8-9 GB / s on the PlayStation 5 and 4.8 GB / s on the Xbox.
The 825GB disk capacity is smaller than on the Xbox, but will be expandable with other NVMe drives. Interestingly, unlike Microsoft, Sony will not produce specialized PlayStation 5 expansion discs, but will be able to use * any * PCIe 4.0 NVMe discs ... as approved by Sony. However, some discs may not fit the PS5 console, such as those that come with their own coolers.
So, all in all, the numbers are technical on the Xbox side, but Sony emphasizes that the PlayStation 5 is a more capable machine than its 10.28 teraflops of power suggests. Regardless of the comparison, it is fairly strong hardware, so there is no doubt that the console will be competitive in the market. After all, a faster disk with less capacity and more flexibility in expanding storage could give Sony more benefits than harm - especially if the console is cheaper than the Xbox Series X because of this.

Before the release of the PC version of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima admitted that he was not completely satisfied with the sales results...
