15.5 million photos have already been taken at the Ghost of Tsushima

Sony has shared statistics from the first 10 days of playing Ghost of Tsushime that confirm two things - players love duels and photography.

Ghost of Tsushima is a game where practically anyone can take a beautiful photo. It is not surprising, therefore, that players very often use the built-in Photo Mode of that game, and the statistics from the first five days give us a concrete insight into that. Sucker Punch Productions revealed that by July 28, about 15 and a half million photos had been taken using the game's photo mode.

The activity that is more common in Ghost of Tsushima than photography is samurai duels. There were 156.4 million of them in the first ten days, of which 57.5 million were in 1 vs. 1 format. Players have spent 810 years on horseback so far, played the flute 28 million times and written 14.2 million haiku. The handcuffs were scratched 8.8 million times and 17 million bamboos were cut down.
