Rainbow Six Siege got a new mod, robots took over the game

The upcoming time-limited event arrives in the game and will remain in it for most of the eighth month. Futuristic 5v5 fights have become the main theme of fashion in which there is no preparatory phase.

Ubisoft has announced that a new mod is coming to Rainbow Six Siege. M.U.T.E Protocol, as its official name implies, will throw players into the futuristic world of the aforementioned title. The matches will be played on the Tower map, which, like the operatives, will be futuristically rearranged.

This mode will be available from August 4 to 17 and brings several changes compared to the classic game. Just like in the previous mods, there will be no preparation stages here, so the rounds in the matches will start immediately. This means that there is no preparation for attack or defense, but tactics for victory will have to be worked out on the move. Also, human operatives will be replaced by their robotic versions because the action takes place in the future of cyberpunk themes.

The attacker's goal will be to hack a server on a map that defensive players keep. To make things better and more interesting, both teams will have the ability to transform and teleport. At certain moments, the attackers will be able to jump in, that is, turn into their own drones and thus sneak up on their opponents. Defensive players will be able to teleport using cameras to be deployed on the map.

All these changes, related to the appearance of the operatives, their weapons and other things, will be able to be unlocked in a separate form. Cosmetic supplements on selected operatives will be available during the stated time period of the latest Rainbow Six Siege mode.
