The gameplay itself also promises a higher level of freedom. There will be optional missions, and a system of dialogue will be integrated in which we can choose what the characters will say. Some missions will also have Hitman's style of gameplay, without direct shooting we will be given the task of poisoning the opponent, stealing things and the like.
They have revealed practically nothing about multiplayer to us except that it will be. This information is kept for September 9. It has only been confirmed that an open beta test will be held before the release, first on the PlayStation 4 and then on other platforms.
The zombies have also been confirmed, but we’ll only hear about them later. For now, it has only been said that it will be the first zombies with a cross-play option on all platforms.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be released on the first day when those consoles are released, and the date of that is not yet known. The standard edition of the game will cost 60 euros, if you want to upgrade to the next-gen version you will pay 70 euros.
