If you were hoping to play Baldurs Gate 3 this month, Larian Studios has just confirmed that it won't happen, but the release of the early access version of the game is still "around the corner".
RPG fans had hoped Baldur’s Gate 3 would come out in Early Access this month. Larian Studios president Swen Vincke threw oils on that fire when he said in June that they were really trying to make it happen, but that the pandemic that had befallen us all could slow down production.
This obviously happened because now the studio has officially announced via Twitter that the Early Access version of the game will still fail to prepare for release this month. They say, however, that its release is "around the corner", and the final release date and other big news will be revealed on 18.08. on the “Panel from Hell” stream featuring Vincke, host Geoff Keighley and members of Larian’s development team.
