We will see the first "next-gen" Call of Duty next Monday

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War should be officially unveiled as early as this Monday if the mysterious padlock boxes that some media outlets are to be believed.

It seems that Activision is finally ready to introduce us to the new Call of Duty, which we have already learned should be called Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. It should be the first "next-gen" Call of Duty game since it would only be logical that in addition to the current platform, it will also be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

As we wrote the day before yesterday, fresh details about the new CoD game should be seen in some way through the current Call of Duty: Warzone, but until now we didn’t know when that big announcement could happen.

The mystery has now been seemingly solved because some media outlets have been given special press kit boxes with the message “don’t open until August 10 at 6 p.m.”. This should of course indicate the date and time of the discovery of the new game.
