Microsoft has announced the end of its lifespan for the Forza Motorsport 3, which goes out of sale next month.
The Forza Horizon 4 will live on for a few more years and will be specially optimized for the new Xbox Series X console. However, its predecessor will not be that lucky. The Australian chapter of Forza actually goes to the eternal hunting grounds… in part. Namely, it was announced that the 2016 Forza Horizon 3 will be removed from sale on PC and Xbox from September 27 this year. That includes everything extra for that game.
The reason for this move probably lies in the expiration of car and music licenses. Fortunately, none of this will harm existing game owners and those who manage to buy it by September 27. If the game is tied to your account, you will be able to continue playing it and download it again as if nothing had happened. Moreover, its online component will function properly until further notice. "End of life" in this case just means the end of the sales cycle.
A 70% discount has been prepared for this occasion, which will last until September 27. The ultimate edition of the game, with all DLC extensions, can be purchased for $ 21. The standard edition without DLC sells for just $ 9.89.
