Joe Rogan says playing video games is a waste of time, you better practice jiu-jitsu
Renowned American host Joe Rogan has lashed out at the video game medium, calling it a problem because it wastes invaluable time to people.
American host Joe Rogan is one of the most famous names in the podcast format. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, follows nearly 200 million people a month, and that's one of the reasons why Spotify has invested heavily in the show's exclusivity - reportedly about a hundred million dollars.
Joe Rogan is also very familiar with video games, which he recently claimed he consumes at the addictive level. In the latest episode of the podcast, he attacked the activity of playing video games, calling it a problem because that activity leads to nothing but a waste of time.
Rogan states that some other activities, such as training in jiu-jitsu, can open up opportunities for advancement in life and buying a Mercedes. He went on to say that he is aware that many people make money in the video game industry, but claims that this requires adjustment because the player must be skilled in several games, not just one that will no longer be relevant after five years.
Rogan has mentioned Quake Champions several times before as a game that suits him, and two years ago he said that video games are intellectually challenging and said that children make a lot of money on video games today.
