Far Cry 6 officially confirmed, the villain is played by Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad
The rumors were true - Far Cry 6 is in development and will star famous actor Giancarlo Esposito.
At Ubisoft it leaks in all directions, worse than at my neighbor whose pipe burst. The PlayStation Store in Hong Kong has prematurely posted material from Far Cry 6 that has been rumored for some time, and seeing that the cat escaped from the bag, Ubisoft has officially confirmed the existence of the game they planned to announce on Ubisoft Forward this Sunday.
The rumors were true - the main villain in the game will be played by the famous actor Giancarlo Esposito, who became famous in the series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Esposito will play a character named Anton Castillo, a dictator of a tropical paradise called Yara. A revolution is being raised against him and his son Diego, and the player will take part in that revolution as guerrilla fighter Dani Rojas.
Diego has an identical scar on his right eyebrow as Vaas from Far Cry 3, so rumors soon surfaced that Far Cry 6 could actually precede the trio chronologically. But that part has yet to be confirmed or denied.
Of course, Far Cry 6 will be a first-person shooter that will take place in the jungle, beaches and the capital of Yare, Esperanza. From the previous game, the engagement of comrades (assuming that the co-op is coming back) and the creation of one's own weapon was taken over.
The game has been confirmed for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (the upgrade from PS4 to PS5 will be free), but like other titles in the series, it is also expected on PC and Xbox consoles.
