Bright Memory Infinite showed us a little more of its rainy cracking

The year is 2036 and the climate rampage is at its peak. We will find out if there is a conspiracy behind this as an agent of the SRO organization.

Halo Infinite will have free multiplayer

For the first time, Microsoft's flagship for the Xbox platform will use a different multiplayer format that will be free to play.

So far, Microsoft has spoken of Halo Infinite exclusively as a single-player title with the promise that it will be the largest and most open Halo to date. This is a bit strange because the Halo series gained its popularity primarily through multiplayer as one of the first shooters with online multiplayer for consoles.

However, it seems that there is a reason why the Xbox team has not yet talked about the multiplayer component, and the reason is allegedly that it will be free, or free-to-play format. For now, that information, which appeared in the database of one store, has not been confirmed yet, but since several sources state it as a safe thing, there is a great chance that Halo will fight for a presence on the scene in that way. Following the example of other shooters, the game will use the optional battle pass system and will support up to 120 fps on the XSX console.

It will be the first time in the series that the multiplayer of one Halo game is free to play. For Microsoft, this could be a necessity because the game as an exclusive will have a smaller base of potential players on Xbox and PC, and for successful and long-lasting multiplayer today it is no longer enough to have thousands of players when some battle royale F2P titles number millions and millions of users.

New Sony TVs to be "ready for PlayStation 5"

Sony has announced the first two TV models to be sold under the "Ready for PlayStation 5" label.

Most of today’s TVs on the market will be ready for new consoles. But some will be more "ready" than others, that is, they will be able to take advantage of all the benefits of the new consoles from the start, even in theory if they can not deliver it themselves. We are talking here primarily about the display of games at 120 frames per second at 4K resolution, which requires a newer version of the HDMI 2.1 slot.

In the case of Sony, such new TVs will be labeled "Ready for PlayStation 5" to be an advertisement for the console itself. In addition to the aforementioned support for the 4K120 standard (which again depends on the game), Sony’s Bravia TVs will have Game Mode to reduce latency.

Interestingly, Sony TVs work in tandem with the DualSense controller, so both the TV and the console will be able to turn on at the same time. The TV remote control will also be able to be used as a media playback controller on the PlayStation 5.

So far, Sony has announced two TV models ready for the PS5. The first is the X900H LED TV ready for 4K and 120 fps with an input lag of 7.2 milliseconds. The other is the Z8H which is capable of displaying 8K resolution.

Hawkeye will be the first additional Avenger after the launch of Marvel’s Avengers

Another episode of “War Table” for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers was aired and revealed the first additional character in the game.

Marvel’s Avengers will give players control of a total of six Avengers in their base campaign upon exit, namely Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow and Kamala Khan. But as this is a game conceived as an evolving project, additional Avengers will come later. And today we learned that Hawkeye is the first of three on the list.

Hawkeye will not only be a playful character for the rest of the game but will come with his own missions, that is, a separate story that will be able to be experienced in single-player or cooperative. Hawkeye is designed in the game according to the comic book series "My Life as a Weapon", and there are small indications that his faithful dog Lucky will join him in his adventures.

As promised so far, extensions for Marvel’s Avengers should be free to all game owners so we won’t have to pay any additional fees for Hawkey.

Killjoy is Valorant's new agent

We are familiar with a new playful character in the Valorant shooter, with a full demonstration of skills. Her name is Killjoy and she loves robots in her spare time.

UPDATE NEWS: Riot Games has now officially introduced Killjoy. It turned out to be a female character of German descent. We will be able to take control of Killjoy from 4 August.

ORIGINAL NEWS: Riot Games has not yet officially revealed the new agent / playable character in the Valorant shooter, but almost all the necessary information about him is already available. By some awkward case, a video leaking that demonstrates Killjoy and his specific skills was leaked.

We don’t know yet what Killjoy looks like, but we do know that he will use some significantly different attacks and tricks than the rest of the current lineup of agents. Killjoy’s first standard skill is called Alarmbot and launches a killer robot that tracks nearby opponents, and when in contact with them explodes and temporarily leaves opponents doubly vulnerable to all other damage. Another skill is throwing static cannons with a 180-degree angle of view. The third skill is Nanoswarm, a grenade that does not explode after being thrown but can be manually activated at any time.

Killjoy’s ultimate attack is Lockdown, and if timed well, he can capture all enemies caught in range for a total of 8 seconds. The lockdown is initiated using a device that Killjoy throws to the ground, meaning enemies can destroy it to undo its action.

Here’s what hardware you need to run Horizon: Zero Dawn on your PC

Guerrilla Games has shared the official hardware requirements for the PC port of its Horizon Zero Dawn game. For a three-year-old title, the required hardware is not terrible.

In about a week, PC players will be able to experience the SF adventure in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn. Fans of good graphics are looking forward to seeing the visual splendor of this game in full 4K resolution and 60+ frames per second, but so far it has been questionable what kind of hardware will be needed for this. Fortunately, now, too, it has finally been deciphered.

The official requirements of the PC version have been announced, and although the game is run by the same Decima Engine that uses Death Stranding that came to PC in the middle of this month, the requirements are still somewhat milder, at least in the minimal range. Suffice it to say that the minimum is Intel's legendary 2500K from the beginning of 2011. That’s a good three years before the release of the PlayStation 4 for which this game was exclusive for three years!

But, just like in the case of Death Stranding, Horizon will play on the PC exclusively via Windows 10 because it uses only DirectX 12. And get ready for another "meaty" download of 100+ gigabytes.

Minimum:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
  • RAM: 8 GB

Recommended:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X@3.5GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)
  • RAM: 16 GB

Asterix & Obelix XXL: Romastered has been announced

You thought Kingdoms of Amalur: ReReckoning was the worst name for a remaster? We have competition, you wouldn’t believe it.

The 2003 3D platformer Asterix & Obelix XXL will get its remaster on October 22, 2020. Better graphics with reworked animations, a new camera system, two additional mods and original voice acting are promised. But it is not that this news will arouse interest among a large number of players. I am writing it solely because of its humorous title: Asterix & Obelix: Romastered. In fact, you decide for yourself how humorous it is.

Romastered just continues the trend of creatively naming remasters. SpongeBob remaster was “Rehydrated”, Warcraft 3 was called “Reforged, Spyro was“ Reignited ”, upcoming Kingdoms of Amalur remaster was“ ReReckoning ”, Observer was System Redux, and now we have… Romastered, because the game takes place in the Roman Empire , pa Roma… stered.

I mean, it could hardly have been worse than Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 or Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition, but again… Romastered, really? I hope Crysis: Remastered was postponed so they could call it Crysis: Maximum Remaster Engaged.

You can play Pokken Tournament DX on Switch for free if you are a Nintendo Online subscriber

Beat Pikachu for free the way you always wanted to! The Pokken Tournament DX is free to try for a full week.

While on other platforms we regularly get the opportunity to try some current games for free, on the Switch there is no use for Nintendo's grandmother either. However, today we have a very rare exception that one Switch exclusive can be played * for free * for a full week.

The Pokken Tournament DX can be tried out from tomorrow, July 29, until August 4, with the remark that you can start downloading the trial version today. However, there is a catch - free trial is available only to subscribers of the Nintendo Online service… and not only for network multiplayer, but for access to the trial version itself.

For those who don’t know, the Pokken Tournament is a pretty solid sheet with Pokemon. It came out back in 2015 for the Wii U console, and then in a DX version for the Switch. Although this is a five-year-old game from the last generation, the price of the Switch version still stands at around 60 euros, so this is a good opportunity to fight Pokemon… even if you have to pay a subscription for it.

They could at least get some discount during this trial period, would that kill them?

16 years later, World of Warcraft may be arriving on consoles

A rather unusual thing happened in Brazil - there was an indication that World of Warcraft Shadowlands could come to the Xbox Series X.

The Classification Committee for Determining the Age Limits of Video Games in Brazil has made an extremely unusual entry in its database - World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, for PC and Xbox Series X. The part with the PC platform is not controversial, but this is the first time that someone in a very long time mentions the possibility of the emergence of the cult MMORPG on the console.

It is quite possible that this is a "printing" error and that even 16 years later WoW will not be available outside the PC. However, another intriguing fact should be kept in mind. The upcoming Shadowlands expansion will be the first to add controller support to the 16-year-old game.

From Blizzard, they say their desire is to make WoW more accessible to an audience that can’t use the keyboard in gaming due to certain handicaps. However, so far only special controllers have been mentioned, such as Microsoft’s Xbox Adaptive controller. Hence, it’s not exactly an indication that the game is in the making for the Xbox Series X, but - you never know, do you?

PS Plus subscribers in the eighth month get the old Call of Duty and one brand new game

One remaster and one brand new game are on the list of "gifts" to PlayStation Plus subscribers in the eighth month.

Sony has revealed which games it will distribute to PlayStation Plus subscribers in the eighth month. As usual, these are two titles. The first is another Call of Duty, but ironically you don't need a PS Plus for this one because it only contains a single-player. Namely, this is this year's remaster of Modern Warfare 2, ie its campaign. The game will be available for download from July 28 to August 31.

As for the second game, we have a little surprise here. It doesn’t happen often that with the PS Plus subscription you get brand new games, but that will be the case this month. The other game is called Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and it’s a multiplayer title that you would otherwise need a PS Plus for. It doesn't take long to guess what genre it is - it's battle royale, of course. But there is no shooting in Fall Guys, but you race with 59 other players on a polygon with a series of obstacles and push them into traps.

While it may seem ridiculous at first glance, that's the point - Fall Guys seems like a potential hit that was the most watched game on Twitch last weekend, for beta testing. It was watched by an average of 60,000 people, and at one point by 218,000 viewers.

Fall Guys will be available for download from August 4 to August 31.

Ghost of Tsushima from today becomes harder to play

As of today, Ghost of Tsushima will be updated to version 1.05 with which new weight and accessibility settings come.

Ghost of Tsushima is a game that can be quite challenging at first, but over time the difficulty decreases a bit as the player upgrades his character’s skills. As you more or less upgrade your character by going through the main story, a lack of challenge can be felt in the complete transition. However, the Sucker Punch Productions team will tackle this problem today with a new update.

In version 1.05 Ghost of Tsushima will get a new difficulty level called Lethal. In it, the enemies will be more aggressive in the fight, and their attacks will be more deadly. Enemies will also notice Jin faster if he is hiding, and the range of time to repel and avoid attacks will be significantly shortened.

If you have the opposite problem - if the game is too difficult for you, an option is introduced to make it easier to read the attack. It’s called Lower Intensity Combat and allows all attacks to be blocked, and enemy attacks don’t end in combo moves. In this mode Jina is also harder to spot while sneaking.

Some subtitle options have also been added. Now you can increase the text size for subtitles and tasks by up to 150%, you can turn off the speaker name in subtitles and change their color from white to yellow, blue, red or green.

Players on PC and consoles will not play Apex Legends together if they do not want to

Apex Legends will soon get a cross-play option, but Respawn Entertainment has reassured all those who fear that PC players will dominate the matches.

The popular battle royale shooter Apex Legends should get shared multiplayer later this summer, ie support for cross-play. As with most other games, this form of gaming will be optional, and the Respawn development studio says it won't open the door to trampling on gaming players by those playing on a PC with a mouse and keyboard.

Addressing TikTok (yes, developers are now announcing things via TikTok), Respawn's Jak Smullin said console players should not be afraid of cross-play because they will cross targets with PC players only in a specific scenario. Namely, only those who have someone who plays on the PC in their team will go to the lobby with PC players. If everyone on the Apex Legends team is playing on consoles, no matter which one, the matches will be played exclusively against the players on the consoles.

Apex Legends should also appear on mobile platforms this year, but for now there is no information on whether there are plans to merge these versions with others. Cross-play is currently announced for PCs and consoles only.

Joe Rogan says playing video games is a waste of time, you better practice jiu-jitsu

Renowned American host Joe Rogan has lashed out at the video game medium, calling it a problem because it wastes invaluable time to people.

American host Joe Rogan is one of the most famous names in the podcast format. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, follows nearly 200 million people a month, and that's one of the reasons why Spotify has invested heavily in the show's exclusivity - reportedly about a hundred million dollars.

Joe Rogan is also very familiar with video games, which he recently claimed he consumes at the addictive level. In the latest episode of the podcast, he attacked the activity of playing video games, calling it a problem because that activity leads to nothing but a waste of time.

Rogan states that some other activities, such as training in jiu-jitsu, can open up opportunities for advancement in life and buying a Mercedes. He went on to say that he is aware that many people make money in the video game industry, but claims that this requires adjustment because the player must be skilled in several games, not just one that will no longer be relevant after five years.

Rogan has mentioned Quake Champions several times before as a game that suits him, and two years ago he said that video games are intellectually challenging and said that children make a lot of money on video games today.

The original Doom can now be played in Minecraft

With the help of virtualization and the Internet, the original shooter Doom can now be played within a completely different game - Minecraft.

You’ve seen Doom spin on ATMs, printers, pianos and even inside the Doom itself. But now another achievement has been achieved for the human race - Minecraft has been launched within Minecraft. Okay, not exactly with Minecraft, but it can be played in Minecraft.

Namely, a modification of VM Computers was recently created for Minecraft, with the help of which you can build a personal computer in the game, and then run an operating system via VirtualBox software for creating a virtual machine. Among the easier boot systems is the ancient Windows 95, and it was he who proved to be the platform to run the cult 1993 Doom.

Judging by the video circulating on Reddit, Doom is very playful in Minecraft, but as with all other experiments - we don't see why anyone would play it like this. But that’s less important in the whole story because - Doom in Minecraft, when did that happen before?

Pirates arrives in Anthem 2.0

Anthem is not "cracked", but illegal actions are on the way because an additional faction of Pirates of Blood Wind is arriving in the new version of the game.

Electronic Arts and BioWare have promised that their Anthem will one day be resurrected in version 2.0. We don’t know when, we don’t know how, but the head of BioWare’s studio in Austin has now shared something interesting. The team seems to be working on bringing new factions into the game, and pirates are among them.

Full name Pirates of Blood Wind, these pals wear pirate clothes, but they are not so old-fashioned as to use weak weapons. Instead, they are technologically advanced, but that of course does not prevent them from living inside a mountain that is carved in the shape of a skull. Some things never change - not even in other galaxies.

It was also revealed that the team is experimenting with different ideas, including battle royale mode and Battlefield-style multiplayer. However, there is no confirmation that some of these experiments will eventually come to life. as Christian Dailey of BioWare says, the competitive PvP segment of the game is not a priority for now.

Check out new gameplay footage from Crash Bandicoot 4

Foreign portals had the opportunity to play a new game from the Crash Bandicoot series, which means we got new gameplay footage. Here’s what Crash’s next adventure looks like.

Ghost of Tsushima is Sony’s fastest-selling new IP of this generation

Sony’s latest (and latest) PlayStation 4 console exclusive has achieved generational success by becoming Sony’s fastest-selling new IP.

With 2.4 million copies sold the first weekend, Ghost of Tsushima became Sony’s fastest-selling new IP during the PlayStation 4 console era. Thus, the game overtook the result of the previous holder of that title - Horizon Zero Dawn. Jin Sakai's adventure in the first days was also played by more players than on the first weekend of Days Gone and Dreams.

While this is a success for Sony, it can also be said that Ghost of Tsushima had a slightly weaker opening than other PS4 exclusives belonging to the famous series. The Last of Us Part II sold 1.6 million more copies on the first weekend, and Final Fantasy 7 1.1 million more copies. Tsushima also lags behind God of War and Spider-Man, who sold over three million units in their time, which was an even more impressive success in 2018 as the PS4 had fewer users.

Psychonauts 2 has a new psychedelic trailer with the melodious voice of Jack Black

The original Psychonauts was a wacky game, and the sequel will, judging by the trailer shown, try to surpass it in every way.

The new show of Psychonauts 2 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase has raised the anticipation of the sequel to the point of incandescence. The trailer itself follows the protagonist Razputin Aquato in passing through an unprecedented, extremely psychedelic level of the game.

It is essentially a level located in a brain without a body, where the goal is to unlock its senses which are expressed by colorful heads, floating eyes, hands coming out of walls and all sorts of strange animals and plants. The creators definitely do not lack imagination, and we would not be surprised if a generous amount of mushrooms participated in the creation of this level.

In addition, several interesting gameplay mechanics are visible in the trailer. Raz within platformer as well as combat segments of the game can freeze opponents or parts of the environment. The level shown is additionally spiced with a segment in which for some reason he has to drive a bus, and there is a visible indication of a fight against a giant boss opponent.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get a more specific release date so Psychonauts 2 may surprise us anytime during 2021. Be sure to take a peek at the trailer, noting how it can cause headaches and the ability to smell space.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 premier is cancelled

The long-awaited sequel to the popular shooter has been given a premiere trailer that focuses on the atmosphere, and in addition, the game will be available for new consoles starting with the Xbox Series X.

Rejoice folks or at least fans of atmospheric shooting and survival as the first trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. With the new graphics launcher, Zona will have an even more uncomfortable atmosphere, and that is exactly what the first display of the game is focused on. Everything we loved about the previous part and its expansion will be powered by more advanced technology here as well.

We only hope that the new iteration of simulating the whole world will bring fewer bugs than the first part, especially since the Zone will be a real open world for the first time and, in addition, bigger than in the previous parts. We assume that this means that there will no longer be sites to load the area. Also, choices during survival will continue to have consequences which means more different endings.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 still doesn't have a specific release date, but with the PC it also arrives on the Xbox Series X, with the game being available immediately on the Game Pass service upon release. A version for the PlayStation (5) is planned, but only after a certain period of exclusivity for the Xbox.

The Exomecha looks like a shooter with Transfromers like we haven’t gotten yet

When there is no new Titanfall, the combination of a first-person shooter and a fight with big swords will offer us a free Exomech title.

Some of today’s most popular games started out as free-to-play titles, including Warframe, Apex Legends and Valorant. Although not many F2P games have been announced for the new consoles, Microsoft has grabbed the temporary exclusivity of the Exomech SF shooter.

This is a team multiplayer title with a unique battle royale mode. The game is reminiscent of Titanfall because in the middle of matches, in addition to shooting, there are also big sword battles. But the very design of these big monsters is more reminiscent of Transformers.

The action takes place on the exotic planet Omecha and it must be admitted that it does not look bad. There are helicopter rides, rocket surfing (!) And big metal dragons spitting fire. Everything and everything, and it's also free.

Exomecha does not have a release date yet, but it has been announced for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Cooperative survival Warhammer 40K: Darktide puts us in the boots of the Inquisition

After destroying pests in fantasy Vermintide, the new cooperative Warhammer title takes us into space within a 40K environment.

After the developers showed us how they know how to make cooperative fun within the fantasy Warhammer environment within which we removed pests, we are now moving into space with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The new title of the Fatshark development studio is also a cooperative game for four players that will be located in the city of Tertium.

The concept of the game is still the same - the elimination of waves of opponents who this time will be the heretical cult of Admonition with the goal of conquering the city. Since the Inquisition does not tolerate heretics, our task is to eliminate them with the help of weapons for short-range and long-range combat. Next year, we will play Darktide first on a PC and Xbox Series X console, so that the game could later come on the PlayStation 5.

Halo Infinite debuted with a gameplay livestream

The opening point of Microsoft’s presentation was the only major exclusive game to be launched alongside the Xbox Series X console. And the only display of gameplay.

Microsoft's presentation of the upcoming games for the Xbox ecosystem has started well - even with an eight-minute gameplay from the great exclusive Halo Infinite. We found out that the game will be open and players will be able to choose the order of solving tasks. It is stated that the single-player campaign will have a world that is larger than both worlds from Halo 4 and Halo 5 combined.

In the game review, we saw Master Chief’s wide arsenal of weapons consisting of an MA40 assault rifle, a VK78 Commando sniper rifle, and a Ravager plasma, among others. A novelty in the arsenal is certainly the Grappleshot hook, which will be used by players to navigate the environment, but also to attract enemies and objects.

In the game we will fight against a "new" faction of enemies called Banished. If you’ve played Halo Wars 2, then you’ll recognize war boss Escharum who will be one of the toughest enemies Master Cheif has encountered so far.

Judging by what was seen, the game looks attractive, although not as if it was made for a completely new generation of hardware. It definitely benefits from the fact that on the Xbox Series X console it will go at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. In addition to the version for the new Xbox, the game will appear on the old Xbox One console as well as on the PC. The Steam version has also been confirmed.

Ubisoft games won’t go up in price, at least not this year

French company Ubisoft has announced that it will not raise the prices of its games for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - at least not immediately.

There is great uncertainty in the unknown fact whether the price of video games for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will jump from 60 euros to 70 euros. For some games, this has already been confirmed, as in the case of NBA 2K21, while other publishers are considering price increases. Among these publishers is the French Ubisoft, but the company said that the price of their games will not increase this year.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion will thus cost € 60 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as much as on older consoles. For all Ubisoft games after the 2020 holidays, the price is still in the fog.

And as for these upcoming games, it has been confirmed that we will see some of them in the ninth month of this year, when the new Ubisoft Forward has been announced. Ubisoft's first digital presentation of this type was held less than two weeks ago, and in addition to the screenings of the aforementioned games from the Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed series, it also announced Far Cry 6. But Ubisoft still has a lot of games they haven't talked about, including Beyond Good & Evil 2, Gods & Monsters and supposedly the new Splinter Cell.

Nvidia will offer the power of Ampere graphics cards through GeForce Now this year

As of this year, GeForce Now streaming service will use the latest Nvidia graphics cards, based on the Ampere architecture.

There is widespread speculation on the Internet that the next generation of Nvidia's graphics cards, based on a new architecture called the Ampera, will be monstrous - both in terms of power and price. But if you have a stable and fast internet, you will be able to taste part of the power of these cards for five and a half euros a month.

Namely, it has been confirmed that the hardware infrastructure for GeForce Now in the subscription edition will be upgraded to the new generation of Nvidia's graphics solutions as soon as they go on sale. That will be as early as this year, which may have been expected, but in the case of GeForce Now it wasn’t always like that. For example, the RTX series of graphics cards on the Turing architecture has been on the market since 2018, while GeForce Now started using raytracing and DLSS techniques only from the beginning of 2020, when the service came out of the testing phase.

Nvidia says the monthly subscription price for GeForce Now will remain at 5.5 euros throughout 2020, despite infrastructure upgrades. But how long it will be so low - we'll find out next year. Meanwhile, GeForce Now is sure to benefit from more powerful hardware as “hungry” hits like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla arrive this fall.

For Honor is free to play this weekend

Ubisoft's fighting game For Honor will be free to try out this weekend, and you can start downloading it now.

Ubisoft’s multiplayer title For Honor was already being shared for free on PC while PlayStation Plus users could get it as part of a subscription. All those who missed those opportunities to get the game, this weekend will still be able to play it for free for a total of three days.

The free trial weekend of For Honor is valid for all versions of the game and will be held on both PC and consoles. On the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game will be free to try from tomorrow, July 23, from 9 a.m. On the PC, it will be possible to play through Uplay and Epic Games from 3 pm, and on Steam from 7 pm. Free play will last until July 26 until 9 am on consoles, or until 10 pm the same day on the PC.

If you like the game, it will be available for purchase at an 80% discount. Or you can just wait a few more months or years to share it for free again.

Samurai Jack sharpened his sword for the eighth month

The action game Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will be available for PC platform and consoles from mid-August.

Samurai are in vogue in 2020. We first forged our legend in Nioh 2, then we followed Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima, and at the end of the year Keanu Reeves will beat us “Wake up, samurai.” In Cyberpunk 2077. But before the end of the year, we will also play Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. It has been announced that the game will be released on August 18 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It will cost 40 euros.

While it will definitely be different from the other samurai adventures on offer, this game could be an ideal summer read if judged by the simplicity it exudes in the last trailer.

Rocket League becomes free, but not on Steam

The Psyonix studio game will become free to play after five years and will no longer be available to new players on Valve’s platform.

Great things happen in the Rocket League. The favorite video game in which we try to score a goal with cars not only becomes free to play, but will also be removed from Steam. The new destination for all new Rocket League players on PC will be the Epic Games Store. Fortunately, all those who already have a Rocket League on Steam will be able to play it there still.

“The Rocket League will debut on the Epic Games Store when it becomes free to play. The upcoming version will be the same as those on other platforms and will offer the possibility of crossplay with all platforms on which the Rocket League is located "- said in a statement from the studio Psyonix.

Another significant thing that comes with the transition of the game to the Epic Games Store will be that the Rocket League will have a cross-platform progression. This means that the progress made in the game will be shared on all platforms in the future, ie you will be able to switch from the console to the PC and continue where you left off, or vice versa.

Anyone who purchases the game before its free version, and plays it between July 21 and the release of the free-to-play model, will be able to keep it and receive regular updates. The game will be removed from Steam, so future players will no longer be able to get it there. Veterans of this title, before the game switches to the free-to-play version, will receive Legacy status as a reward. This will allow them several rewards within the game, including all the DLCs that came out before the free version arrived.

The exact date when Rocket League will switch to the free-to-play model has not yet been determined.

Work has begun on the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake

The Square Enix team has confirmed that they have embarked on the development of the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake - and they are asking us to be patient.

This year’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake was just the first part of a wider story than who knows how many parts. The second part is already in preparation, they revealed from the Square Enix team for Famitsu magazine, but that’s about all they could say about it at the moment. Game director Tetsuya Nomura claims they understand the importance of kicking out the sequel as soon as possible.

"We want to deliver the game as soon as possible. We plan to make something even better and more fun. When we announce the next game, we hope to clearly reveal our plans for the future. " - said Nomura for Famitsu.

It’s pretty clear that the current generation of consoles will be replaced with new ones by the time Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part II is completed, but that shouldn’t pose a major problem. It is almost certain that the first part of the remake will work on the PlayStation 5 console as well, and once it hits the Xbox One sometime during 2021, it will also work on the Xbox Series X.

Trains arrive at Call of Duty: Warzone

The fifth season of the current Call of Duty is on the horizon and it seems that railway traffic will soon start in Verdanska.

2020 is a very strange year, and not just because of the crown. It’s the second half of the seventh month, and the next Call of Duty hasn’t been announced yet. Instead, we are writing about the announcement of a new, fifth season for the current Modern Warfare and its Warzone.

Namely, the popular CoD streamer NICKMERCS got a shorter trailer for next season in Warzone. The same shows a camera from inside the locomotive, which is a pretty clear indication of how the train (s) arrive in Verdansk. You can also see the date of August 5, which could mark the start of the new season.

Trains are not exactly a novelty in the battle royale sphere. Earlier this year, Apex Legends got its train by presenting the World’s End map. There, it brought a new level of unpredictability and fun to the game, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the Infinity Ward team tried to introduce new dynamics into their battle royale mode in a similar way.

Check how many hectoliters of blood we will actually release in Shadow Warrior 3

Without any interruptions and in full gameplay we can witness that Lo Wang has not lost his specific humor and has become even more fun in massacring demons.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will spin in 4K resolution and 60 fps - if you want

Development studio Insomniac Games has confirmed that the spin-off game in the world of Spider-Man on the PS5 console will be able to run in two modes.

Recently, there has been a debate about how games on the PlayStation 5 console will not run at 60 fps. More specifically, there has been an argument that developers will choose a leap in graphics quality rather than better performance, and more advanced hardware is not always able to chew both. However, the situation will continue as on the PS4 Pro console where individual games will have two or more play modes.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will have an optional "Performance mode" in which the game will be played in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Other modes have not yet been discovered, but it is to be expected that the standard mode will have a performance of 30 fps with slightly more advanced and detailed graphics.

Given that SM: Miles Morales runs on the same launcher as the original 2018 Spider-Man, I sincerely hope that means that game will also get a free update for the PS5 with the same performance mode. But we will have to wait a little longer to confirm that.

Here’s another indication that we’re probably getting a remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy

In early 2021, The Art of Mass Effect Trilogy: Expanded Edition will be launched. It is possible that he will follow the remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy.

An entry for the book The Art of Mass Effect Trilogy: Expanded Edition has recently appeared on Amazon and other online stores. Judging by the official description, it is an expanded edition of the existing book with illustrations, sketches and other materials from the first three games of the Mass Effect series.

It’s not uncommon for the 2012 book to get a new edition, but it’s very likely that it will follow a potential remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy as well. It has been rumored for a long time that Electronic Arts plans to launch this remaster collection in 2021, and considering that the mentioned book is planned for February 23, 2021, it is probably not a mere coincidence.

The expanded edition of the book will include new material from all DLC episodes for existing games. It is also to be expected that all existing DLCs will be included in the remaster collection, if any. Of course, these are all speculations for now that should not be taken as confirmation. If confirmed, it will probably be kept for November 7, when the so-called N7 day is celebrated.

A mysterious world has been found from the initial image of Minecraft

Several very dedicated Minecraft players believe they have found a world that has been portrayed for years when the game was launched.

Until recently, since its launch in 2011, Minecraft has used a blurry shot of a panorama in the main menu that tickled the imagination of some fans of the game. Namely, it was not known in which world within Minecraft this panorama was captured and whether that world existed at all in the game itself.

While we will probably never get true confirmation of this, a group of enthusiasts claim to have found a world whose panorama has graced the Minecraft home menu for years. Behind the discovery is a team from the Minecraft @ Home team who, with the help of volunteers and their computers, managed to make a calculation by which they believe they have found the world they are looking for. It took them more than a month to work.

If you want to visit the world that has been spinning in the main menu for years, here are the coordinates for it:

Version: Beta 1.7.3

Coordinates: X = 61.48 ~, Y = 75, Z = -68.73 ~

World of Tanks gets a cross-play option on consoles tomorrow

Tank skirmishes in the World of Tanks game on consoles will be expanded from tomorrow with the option of cross-platform multiplayer.

Console releases of the multiplayer hit World of Tanks from tomorrow, July 21, will have a cross-play option included. Players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles will be able to play with each other or against each other in multiplayer matches. No special restrictions will be placed on this option.

World of Tanks thus joins the growing number of multiplayer titles that have already introduced cross-play. Fortnite, PUBG, CoD: Warzone, Minecraft, Rocket League, Paladins, SMITE and other titles have already merged their player communities into one big whole. Developer Wargaming.net announced its cross-play initiative back in late 2019 when PS4 and XBO brought players together in their World of Warships Legends game.

See what the hot circle looks like in Project CARS 3 on the Laguna Seca track

Slightly Mad Studios demonstrated a fast lap at IndyCar from 2019 on the Laguna Seca track. The fans are not very happy.

Project CARS 3 did not meet with much sympathy among fans during last month’s announcement. The game was resented for entering the waters of arcade racing, and real fan dissatisfaction came to the surface when Slightly Mad Studios recently revealed that the game would have no pit stop mechanics, tire or fuel consumption.

Yesterday, the game received a new gameplay demonstration on the Laguna Seca track, but fans in the comments relentlessly called for a postponement of the release in order to return to the game what the previous parts had. The team of Slightly Mad Studios, on the other hand, has a different point of view and believes that by throwing out the pit stop, the focus is additionally on racing without pausing the action itself.

Here’s what the PS4 console brings in the software update in version 8.00

Sony has started sending invitations to test the new firmware version for the PlayStation 4 in Japan, and it is known what it brings.

Before the PlayStation 4 console is replaced by a thicker and bulkier successor, the old four will get another system update, i.e. firmware version 8.00. Invitations to test this update have already been sent to some users in Japan, and it was immediately learned what the new version of the system will bring. In short - don't expect any big changes.

The update will likely be focused on the communication aspect of the console. From now on, it will be easier to start communication with a larger number of players on the console insofar as already created events can be recorded as templates. There will also be an option for the user to join a group even when a member from that group is blocked.

Perhaps the most significant novelty will be the ability to mute the microphones of all members in the group with one stroke, while the display of the muted / muted microphone will be more clearly visible to the user.

It’s possible that this is the latest major update to the PlayStation 4 console. While support for it will still exist, it is to be expected that Sony will redirect its efforts to the new generation of PlayStation and the new functionalities that come with it.

Warhammer 40K: Rites of War is shared for free

PC players can get one older game from the Warhammer 40,000 strategy series for free this weekend.

It’s a pretty quiet weekend when it comes to games being shared for free, but GOG.com has decided to treat us to one treat from the past. Namely, you can get Warhammer 40K: Rites of War for free for your PC game collection until tomorrow afternoon.

This is a 1999 strategic turn-based game. There are 24 missions, eight different classes and the possibility of modifying them. Of course, this is a 2D title, so don't expect any graphic splendor from it.

Additional platforms for Crash Bandicoot 4 are under consideration

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will only be available on two platforms upon release, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be later ports.

The upcoming Crash Bandicoot 4 will be played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles from October 2, and the game will be supported on new consoles that will follow until the end of 2020. Unlike the N.Sane Trilogy, the game is not planned for now PC and Nintendo Switch.

However, at the request of PCGamesN, the publishing house Activision said that they are considering additional platforms for Crash Bandicoot 4, but for some future date. The N.Sane Trilogy came to the PC a year after its first appearance on the PlayStation 4, and the same was true for the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Admittedly, last year’s Crash Team Racing has yet to get its PC version, despite some indications that it might be real.

The Great Destiny 2: Beyond Light expansion has been delayed

Destiny 2 content-hungry players hoping to satisfy that hunger with the upcoming Beyond Light expansion will have to put up with it for more than a month.

Bungie has received a lot of criticism for Destiny 2 for the game over the past two seasons. Season of Dawn and Season of the Worthy, despite some cool moments in the story, brought almost nothing new to the game in terms of content. The current season - Season of Arrivals, has been well received by players, especially as it serves as an overture to the great Beyond Light expansion. Unfortunately, as this is an ambitious addition that could be larger than the Forsaken, Beyond Light has been postponed and will be released only on November 10th.

When it comes to Destiny 2 expansions, delays are nothing new. And last year’s Shadowkeep’s release date was moved by 2 weeks. In the case of Beyond Light, which was originally planned for September 23, it is a delay of a month and a half, and the main reason for this is of course COVID-19 and the fact that Bungie employees are still working from home. But even without that, the delay is not surprising since Beyond Light brings a significant new chapter in the game's story, a new destination, a new raid, a bunch of new weapons, new powers and many other changes that will keep players playing for a long time.

The Season of Arrivals will accordingly last a bit longer, and Bungie will offer various benefits such as more experiential and other points such as valor and infamy as an excuse for the delay. The Moments of Triumph event will also last longer and allow players to loot old raids that no longer offer prizes just once a week.

Of course, the Solstice of Heroes event is coming, and due to the longer duration of the season, the Festival of the Lost event for Halloween is also included. In addition to all of the above, Bungie promises additional surprises, so maybe the delay will not be as tragic as we thought.

The pirate RPG King of Seas has been announced

During this fall, we will sail the procedurally generated seas in the new action RPG title King of Seas.

The pirate game Sea of Thieves has gotten quite a bit of wind in its sails after a recent appearance on Steam. At the moment, this is the first choice for a pirate-themed game, but this fall we have an alternative. It is called King of Seas and arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

King of Seas brings everything that would be expected from a pirate adventure - battles on the high seas and the search for gold, and you have to take care of the rum yourself. The specificity of this pirate adventure will be that its world will be procedurally generated, which means that it will be different every time we start the game.

For this reason, the main difference in relation to Sea of Thieves arises, because King of Seas will be a single-player-oriented RPG, intended for independent sailing in unpredictable seas.

Deathground is a dinosaur horror that looks like the successor to Dino Crisis

A crowdfunding survival horror campaign called Deathground is underway on Kickstarter that shares a lot of ideas with the Jurassic Park and Dino Crisis series.

There are some indications that the Japanese company Capcom could one day bring back the once popular Dino Crisis series. But until that adventure of taming extinct dinosaurs returns, it pays to take a look at Deathground, a new survival horror currently in the midst of a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Deathground is a game where the player needs to survive on a map with dinosaurs, but not quite like in Ark. Namely, here survival involves hiding in dark environments and escaping from physically more powerful dinosaurs. If you've played Alien: Isolation, then this is Dinosaur: Isolation.

However, unlike the aforementioned Alien, Deathground will be able to be played in two ways - solo or in a group of up to three players. There will be three classes of characters you can play with: engineer, scout, and hunter, and their skills will vary in sprinting speed, sneaking volume, endurance level, throwing range, strength, and payload. Each class will also have one unique skill.

In cooperative play mode, teamwork will be key to survival, while in solo mode the player will have to use various tactics on his own to avoid dinosaurs. It’s worth noting that this won’t be a story game, but something closer to Dead by Daylight. Each map will have a loot and dynamically placed dinosaurs, and the player's goal is to find a way out before running out of resources by becoming a dinner to T-Rex or Velociraptor.

Deathground on Kickstarter has a campaign for the next three weeks. The amount claimed for the development of the game is $ 100,000, of which $ 72,000 has been raised so far.
