Ghost Recon Breakpoint will borrow one foray from battle royale games

Ubisoft has shared new details about the PvP mode of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which will be available in the game as soon as it is released.

Ghost Recon Wildlands received a battle royale mode called Mercenaries this year, and this series will not be the only flirtation with the battle royale genre. Specifically, it has been confirmed that the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint in its Elimination (4v4 PvP) mode will use to reduce the playful part of the folder.

So, as the match progresses, the circle / circle within which players must remain to survive will narrow on the map. The ring will be randomly positioned on the map.

In addition to Elimination mode, Sabotage will also be available on release, another 4v4 mode in which one team puts a bomb and another tries to prevent them from doing so. Both PvP modes will be played on a total of six different folders upon release.

It is also confirmed that the game on all platforms will use the dedicated servers for PvP modes. Advances in PvE and PvP modes will be linked, so XP level, specialization and equipment will be shared between the main single-player / co-op campaign and Ghost War (PvP).

Equipment levels will be disabled in PvP and matchmaking will take place in the background as players explore the world or the PvP folder within the game. PvP mode will have special rewards in the form of PvP perks, as well as cosmetic items such as weapon stickers, user titles, etc. Cosmetic content will be available for purchase using the game currency or microtransactions.
