Working started on Deathmatch mode for Valorant
Riot Games has confirmed that they are already in the plans for the next game modes in Valorant and that they will respect the wishes of the players and include Deathmatch.
Competitive shooter Valorant was launched with a single game mode called Spike Rush in which two teams of five players alternately compete in placing and deactivating the bomb. Currently, that mode is in beta and will definitely not be the only mode the game will have.
It has not yet been decided whether this will be a rotation mode, ie whether it will stay in the game forever or will occasionally appear / disappear. In any case, the decision on that will be not only on the developers of Riot Games, but also on the players themselves.
For now, they have noticed in Riot Games that players are mostly looking for the introduction of the classic Deathmach mode. They therefore promised to honor those wishes, so they set out to develop the technology needed to perform Deathmatch-like mods. Of course, this is not the only mode they have in the plan, but they have multiple modes in the prototype phase that should come to life later.
