Twitch decided to put an end to Valorant's 24-hour streamers

Some streamers tried to bypass Valorant's beta invitations bypass, but the Twitch crew didn't like it.

Valorant is a free shooter of League of Legends creators who has been playing a lot in recent days. It is in closed beta, so its access is only enabled by watching streamers playing that Riot Games title. Initially, only prominent broadcasters had the option of allowing viewers to gain access to the aforementioned FPS game, while other mortals were later allowed to do so.

The problem arose when certain streamers stopped uploading, but still left the stream and content streaming live that day. So their channels on Twitch were active for 24 hours and very likely received more Valorant keys, and therefore viewers. One would think this is a good deed, but not the people who run Twitch. The well-known live streaming platform has decided to end this action.

Twitch has decided to update its community-specific guidance. This kind of live streaming - without the presence of a streamer, is now banned. All those who continue to do things like this will simply not be given the opportunity to share the keys they need to access Valorant. Given that Riot's video game has been the most watched on Twitch in the past few weeks, the new rule will allow the same thing not to happen to some future titles.

The time and place of the action for the next Assassin's Creed are just revealed

Ubisoft has embarked on the unveiling of the setting for Assassin's new Creed game.

Ubisoft today reveals the first details of the next game of the Assassin's Creed series, which we expect to play in the fall of 2020. For now, we know that Kode Abdo, better known as Bosslogic, is an artist on the visual design of the first drawing for the game - an artist who designed, among other things, the famous poster for the movie Avengers: Endgame. During his drawing, music from Assassin's Creed 2 plays.

The next Assassin's Creed adventure is projected to be set in the Viking Age, on the Scandinavian Peninsula.

League of Legends is the most influential in first quarter 2020 esports game

The free title of Riot Games is the fourth most consecutive quarter on top of the most influential esport video games on the PC platform.

The Esport Observer has released a list of the most influential esport video games on the PC platform for the first quarter of this year. Although the coronavirus pandemic has stopped all sports in the world, this is not the case with esports. Admittedly, esportsmen cannot play in front of an audience, but they can still compete in online tournaments.

League of Legends maintained its place at the top of the rankings for the fourth quarter in a row. The game had three times as many players as runner-up Counter Strike: Global Offensive and was the most watched on Twitch. Regional LoL competitions have contributed to this effect since they started during the first month and have recently ended. DOTA 2 came in third, while Rainbow Six: Siege broke into fourth. All these four games thus make the top esport titles in the first quarter of 2020.

Fortnite has retained fifth place and leads second-class esports games. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare made the biggest jump in the center, breaking to sixth. PUBG has dropped out of the top tier and is now in seventh position. Rocket League, Hearthstone, StarCraft II and Magic: The Gathering Arena secured their place in this class.

FIFA 20, Overwatch, Warcraft 3 Reforged and World of Warcraft had the least impact on PC audiences in the form of esports games. Warcraft 3 had a few smaller competitions that helped it stand up by 11 places. These four games make third-party esports titles, but we must not be fooled - everyone on the table is crippled by better statistics due to COVID-19 infestation.

A new preview of Cyberpunk 2077 is coming soon

It is confirmed that the expected hit Cyberpunk 2077 will get a new preview during the sixth month of this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 could comfortably come out without seeing anything more than one trailer on the game, but CD Projekt will leave nothing to chance, though the E3 trade show has been canceled this year. Cyberpunk 2077 was expected to be in the program for six months, now confirmed by whose program.

The already announced IGN Summer of Gaming program was able to attract the most anticipated game of IGN's audience. It is not yet known in what exact form - ie whether we will see a trailer, a gameplay preview or something else, such as an interview with the game's creators. In any case, CD Projekt would not participate in this if there was nothing new to show or announce. What exactly awaits us will be seen in the sixth month.

There is a good chance that this IGN will not be exclusive to the new Cyberpunk 2077 materials. In the past years, CD Projekt worked closely with Microsoft to promote their game. This year, Microsoft will not even have the glittering stage that Keanu Reeves would appear on, but a record viewership of the Xbox digital program is still expected due to the game demonstration for the Xbox Series X console. The CD Project suits this, so they will definitely not be at IGN for a sixth month.

The new season of Pokemon anime will be watched exclusively on Netflix

The new adventures of Ash Ketchum and his six-month-old Pikachu will be available to watch on Netflix.

Pokemon can be watched on the Netflix streaming platform for years, with most of the content available going to older episodes of the series. That will change on June 12 this year when a brand new season of Pokemon anime, called Pokemon Journeys: The Series, arrives on Netflix. This is the 23rd season of Pokemon, to which Netflix claims exclusive airing rights.

Although the Pokemon have been around for more than two decades, the main character Ash Ketchum is not old. He still plans to become a Pokemon Master, and now he will share his adventures with a boy called Goh, who wants to capture all kinds of Pokemon, including the mythical Mew.

PUBG will now have bots in console matches

In PUBG, computer-controlled opponents will also appear on consoles in the future in order to give new players a better chance to practice.

As soon as a multiplayer game adds bots to their matches, most people immediately think that no one is playing that game anymore, so bots have to change actual players. However, bot insertion serves not only this purpose, and it is exemplified by PUBG, which will have bots in its matches since the 7.1 update on consoles.

Specifically, the game's creators have noticed that it is increasingly difficult for new players to enter PUBG because existing players are so trained that the skill difference results in a fairly predictable scenario - so new players always drop out of the match right from the start without elimination.

PUBG Corp hopes to solve this problem by introducing bots, that is, computer-controlled adversaries. These bots will be inserted in such a way that it does not disturb the balance of the game, which means that the bots will not have any special advantages over other players, for example, they will not reach the lot faster, nor will they have a more accurate sighting than the actual players.

It should be noted that the bots will not be in the Ranked game system. Outside of this, everyone will be able to come across them, but more experienced players will see bots less often the higher their MMR.

More than 12 million players attended the Travis Scott concert in Fortnite

Whatever you think of music concerts within Fortnite, there is no denying that they are very successful - both for the game and for the musicians.

We’re not sure if a ten-minute performance can be called a concert, but in any case, people aren’t disappointed with what happened last night at Fortnite where rapper Travis Scott introduced his new song. Scott's performance actually turned out to be an interactive video, and I have to admit that the whole thing is a bit unique.

Fortnite couldn't have been a better platform for this artist, at least as far as viewership statistics are concerned. Fortnite found more than 12.3 million players during the "concert", almost two million more than at last year's Marshmello concert. Not everyone watched Travis Scott, but most did. Those who were not in the game watched the stream - there were 833 thousand on Twitch. Again, not everyone looked at Travis, but most did.

It would be convenient to compare the statistics in terms of viewership of this performance with the numbers of actual concerts, but it is a thankless job. A closer comparison would be one with an event called One World: Together At Home that took place last weekend. At the event, hundreds of musicians performed from their homes, all of which could be watched on YouTube and select TV stations.

There is no information on how much viewership was on YouTube, but we do know how much viewership was on TV. According to Nielsen, more than 20.7 million people have watched the concert. So, seven million people more than Travis Scott's score, but the difference is really remarkable when you consider that only one rapper performed at Fortnite, while many music legends such as Paul McCartney, Elton John performed at One World Concert , Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Eddie Vedder and mega-stars like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez and others.

Of course, it's not all about viewership. With a One World concert, nearly $ 128 million was raised to combat the pandemic, while at the Travis Scott concert, all of the proceeds eventually went to the bank account of Epic Games and their partners.

New Crash Bandicoot game for mobile phones is out

Activision has quietly launched a trial version of Crash Bandicoot Mobile on the Android platform, for now in select regions.

We knew earlier this year that the legendary Crash Bandicoot would get its mobile game directed by the creators of Candy Crush Sage. Now that has come true - Crash Bandicoot ended up on the Android platform, to begin with only in certain regions, not Croatia. However, as it usually is, as soon as the game appears in one region, it can be downloaded elsewhere as well.

As for the game itself, Crash Bandicoot Mobile belongs to the endless runner genre, that is, those games where the character constantly runs forward and actually has no end until the player makes a mistake. Apples are collected, boxes are broken, TNTs and traps are avoided, and bases with Crashe's sister Coco are built outside the run.

The game is free, which means that there is some forcing microtransactions, for example, for crafting the weapons needed to fight the bosses, you have to wait - or pay for the wait to be shortened.

The game is announced following the popular Peaky Blinders series

And in virtual form, we'll be able to join Tommy Shelby's gang as Peaky Blinders: Mastermind arrives soon.

The award-winning Peaky Blinders series will receive its supporting video game called Peaky Blinders: Mastermind. It will be a puzzle adventure for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch, set before the events of the first season of the series. He will introduce the players to Tommy Shelby's band and give control to Tommy himself, as well as other characters such as Arthur, Polly, and others.

The game will be run from an isometric perspective and will require players to plan and coordinate. One of the key mechanics will be to reverse the flow of time or accelerate the time forward. It looks a little confusing to me personally, but perhaps this style of gameplay will set the game apart from the rest of the title on offer.

And then again, behind the game is Curve Digital, whose latest title, by the popular Narcos series, has an average rating of 45. So don't expect much.

Players themselves are catching cheat sellers for Call of Duty: Warzone

The cheating problems in Call of Duty: Warzone are becoming more common and visible, so players themselves have decided to help combat cheats.

The cheats in Call of Duty: Warzone are a growing problem of a game played by tens of millions of players. Although over 70,000 cheaters have been thrown out of the game so far, it has been noted that console players are turning off the option of playing with players on the PC platform in an effort to block cheating that is primarily performed on the PC version.

The situation even came to the point where PC gamers themselves decided to team up and sabotage those who sell cheating tools / software in Warzone. As such sellers request payment via PayPal or cryptocurrency, one player through a fraudulent transaction came to the PayPal ID of the cheat seller and reported it to PayPal.

PayPal then investigated the matter and concluded that it was the sale of illegal and harmful software that eliminated the possibility of receiving payments to whoever was selling the software. Of course, this did not solve the problem completely - the same person still sells cheat software in Warzone, but receives payments exclusively through cryptocurrency, which is a more complicated way of conducting transactions, so there is a chance that fewer users will engage in such things.

What is most interesting about all this is that one player offered an idea how to reduce cheating in Warzone, while the game's creators took a different stance - waiting for the cheating to happen first and then sanctioning the cheaters instead of trying to cut the root.

Crysis Remastered will not have multiplayer, arriving this summer

We got a few more details about the remaster of the original Crysis. It has been confirmed, among other things, that the remaster will only experience a single-player portion of the game.

Crysis Remastered was announced yesterday for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and in the meantime we got a few details we didn't know immediately. For starters, the remaster is not the team that made the original, but the development studio Saber Interactive. Admittedly, Crytek monitors all this and provides them with technical support for the CryEngine on which the remaster is based.

The positive part of Saber Interactive's engagement news is related to the Nintendo Switch console version. Specifically, this team proved to be adept at optimizing demanding games for poor Switch Console hardware - last year they switched The Witcher 3 to Switch, and the result was surprisingly good.

Furthermore, we learned that Crysis Remastered will focus on the single-player component, which means there will be no multiplayer in the remaster. It is unclear whether the campaign from the Warhead expansion will be included, but it has been said that we will see single-player campaigns (in the plural), so this gives hope that Psych's adventure may also be included.

In terms of graphics options, the remaster brings new textures to HD resolution, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, ALL, volumetric fog and software ray tracing. There is no mention yet of what kind of hardware will be required for this.

Crysis Remastered is said to be out in the summer, with the exact date yet to be determined.

The LoL creators tried to ban Corona name on a man who really has that surname

A somewhat strange situation surfaced on the internet, in which Riot Games tried to ban League of Legends from playing a player named Corona.

People bearing the Corona surname certainly have specific adventures in recent months, and one of them shared his story on Reddit. A League of Legends player who put his username in Corona in 2019, as he is really called, has received an order directly from Riot Games since the beginning of the month to change his name so he can continue playing LoL.

Interestingly, he first contacted the creators of the game in the hope that his user profile would not be blocked due to his nickname, and after two weeks of negotiating with Riot Games customer support, he was told he would not be blocked - if he changed his name.

Corona was disappointed with this response, first of all because players with the name Corona in other regions were not denied access to the game. He decided to describe his situation on Reddit, where users with 37,8 thousand likes liked to highlight the problem and forced the Riot Games team to change their mind.

Ultimately, the man was given back access to a game where he still uses the nickname Corona.

Trios mode changed to CoD: Warzone again, players are pissed

Yesterday Call of Duty: Warzone was updated again and again not the way the game fans wanted it.

The creators of CoD: Warzone seem to deliberately resent the players. Last week, they dropped the option of playing on a three-member team, the most common form of play in both modes. The reactions of the players to this move were extremely negative, so the so-called. Trios mode is faster-better returned with the next update. But the joy did not last long.

Yesterday, Warzone received a new update, and the standard Trios mode has been replaced with a new, inferior version called Scopes and Scatter Guns. It still plays in a team of up to three players, but only with the use of snipers and shotguns.

Judging by the players' comments on the internet, it is not clear to anyone what Infinity Ward is doing with this all-time changing mod. Better to say, it is not clear to anyone why simply all modes cannot be present at the same time all the time.

The Valorant hasn't even officially come out, and the players are already trying to cheat

The free 5v5 shooter of League of Legends creators got into trouble in the early days of closed beta testing - cheats emerged.

Valorant is a free shooter for Riot Games that will be released sometime during the summer this year. It is currently in the testing phase, and players can gain access to the game by monitoring the streamers playing the title. Although closed to the vast majority of players, that minority managed to encounter the first problems.

Some players have noticed cheating on some Valorant users. Riot mentioned in numerous interviews that they were working on a system that would make it easier to handle the file. Logically, they actually want to reduce the number of them as much as possible. As a rule - they learn from the mistakes of other known titles in their "wars" against unfair players. Still, it turned out they weren't immune to anything like that, regardless of the closed beta, and developer Paul Chamberlain confirmed that.

"Unfortunately, today we had to get rid of our first cheats (there seem to be many more in sight). I hoped some time would pass before this fight, but it happened and we are ready. ” - he wrote on his own Twitter profile.

Since Valorant is in the testing phase, there is currently no system in the game that will kick cheaters out of the game on a daily basis. Over time, it will appear, and until then this problem will be addressed in other ways.

Marvel's Spider-Man is reportedly coming to PlayStation Now

PlayStation Now subscribers could get another Sony exclusive this month in the available games catalog.

Promotional material for the PlayStation Now has appeared on the internet with three games scheduled to appear on the service during the fourth month. If the material is true, and chances are it is, PS Now will be able to play Marvel's Spider-Man, Just Cause 4 and The 2019 Golf Club.

The offer works convincingly, especially since Sony has already shared its big exclusives on PS Now. There have been God of War, Uncharted 4 and Horizon: Zero Dawn so far, so it would make perfect sense to jump into Spider-Man as well, maybe even in Game of the Year with all three DLC packs.

Admittedly, this has not yet been officially confirmed, so don't take our word for it until Sony arrives - maybe later in the day or tomorrow, since some games are leaving PS Now today.

Overwatch professional players kicked in the game and received big fines

Two famous Overwatch players have been fined directly by Blizzard for inappropriately expressing themselves in a public chat.

Until recently, the umbrella esports competition in Overwatch in 2020 had no cases of player punishment. However, a somewhat bizarre case happened yesterday that two famous players were fined for inappropriately texting during a public broadcast on YouTube.

Jung-Won “Lastro” Mun from the Los Angeles Valiant team and Dong-Jun “Rascal” Kim from San Francisco Shock jokingly wrote “sex” and “big dick” as elementary school kids. What they did not know for some reason was that their release was not private but was recorded in a live public broadcast.

Blizzard did not care that the forgiveness was a joke and a misunderstanding. Both players were fined US $ 1,000. However, they actually did well, because there were no other sanctions - they were not suspended so they can participate in the next matches.

One of the players later apologized for his behavior, claiming that he should not have joked that way and that he would do his best to never do it again.

Resident Evil 8 reportedly brings hallucinations and insanity

If unofficial sources are to be believed, Resident Evil 8 was supposed to arrive in 2021, but was originally not made as Resident Evil 8.

AestheticGamer Twitter has a source close to Capcom and has been referring to Resident Evil 8 for months as a project that has twice gone into production with different ideas. Now the same claims that RE8 will be unveiled later this month and should come out sometime during 2021.

The same source claims that Resident Evil 8 ultimately came from a side project - Resident Evil Revelations 3, which reportedly impressed Capcom hubs a lot. The question, though, is whether it will thrill fans as AestheticGamer states that this Resident Evil will make a big turn on the thematic side in terms of adversaries and intimidation.

Hallucinations, occultism, madness and distrust of others are reportedly among the themes of the game. The game should be rendered from a first-person perspective, just like Resident Evil 7. It was this part of the game that also made the move away from zombies and similar opponents. As for the occult themes, Resident Evil 4 was brilliant for them, so if the eight repeats something similar - I won't mind.

The final trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake is full of drama and eyeballs

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake offshoot suggests a game significantly larger than we had hoped for. And equally dramatic is her dramaturgy.

We'll write you everything and everything about Final Fantasy 7 Remake now - but we shouldn't, at least not for a few more days. So we'll let the pictures speak their own, and there's really a lot to see and hear in the last game trailer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is free to try this weekend

If you want to take a short break from Warzone but not Call of Duty, this weekend you can also try out the paid part of Modern Warfare.

To many, Call of Duty: Warzone has become the only dose of CoD in life. Activision is therefore keen to remind us that there is a CoD outside of Warzone, and this weekend, starting at 7pm, will offer a free trial of Modern Warfare through its multiplayer component. The free trial period will last until 6 April at 7 pm.

Three modes will be tried: Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint on two folders: Atlas Superstore (10 vs 10) and Shoot House (6 vs 6). Fortunately, you don't have to download the whole game if you already have CoD: Warzone installed. However, if you decide to buy, you will be able to download all the progress made during the test.

The Pirates of the Sea of Thieves game will be launching on Steam soon

In a not surprising turn of events, Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox-exclusive Sea of Thieves is coming to the Steam platform soon.

Xbox Games Studios has had a positive relationship with the Valve team for a while, namely their platform called Steam. Although there is still no Forze or Minecraft on Steam, Gears, Halo and Age of Empires have migrated there, among others. Their example will soon be followed by the pirate multiplayer adventure Sea of Thieves.

It is not known exactly when, at any price, but it has already been confirmed that the Steam version will not only "anchor" on that platform, but will support playing with players on the Xbox Live network. This means that all players will play together, including those on the Xbox One console.

Although Sea of Thieves was a disappointment at first, in the two years since its release, it has regularly received additional content and useful updates, and has become a significantly better game.

Fallout 76 will be free on Steam to anyone with a game on Bethesda Launcher

There was little hope that something playful could come out of Fallout 76 after a year and a half. The main hope for this will be a free Wastelanders extension that brings NPC characters to the game. On the day of this expansion, the game will go on sale on Steam as well, with Bethesda cheering on existing game users who already wanted to give it up, like me.

Specifically, the version on Steam will be free to anyone who already has a game on Bethesda's account, or launcher. However, it should be emphasized that this will not be the case all the time but it is a temporary offer. To get Fallout 76 on Steam for free, you need to link your Bethesda account on this page no later than 12 April.

This applies only to PC players - if you have a game on the console, you can't get the Steam version without paying.

Now, the catch is that switching to Steam cannot transfer the game's currency, Atoms, or active subscription to Fallout 1st. Fortunately, everything else can be passed on, including the progress made in the game. Cross-play will be enabled for both PC versions.

If you are buying the game for the first time, you will receive a Fallout 76 Collection on Steam from 14th to 28th April with a Fallout Classic Collection, featuring the first two Fallout Tactics Fallout games.

A brutal action RPG called Mortal Shell has been announced

Another game inspired by the Dark Souls series has been announced. Her name is Mortal Shell and she is full of grotesque opponents.

Every now and then, a game emerges that wants to be the next Dark Souls, and by the end of 2020, another such contender, called Mortal Shell, arrives. So far, the game has been developed under the name Dungeohaven, with a small team of 15 people working on it. Admittedly, this could not be inferred from the look of the game, which is quite impressive both technically and artistically.

Mortal Shell will be an action RPG with a non-linear campaign. In it, we will possess other people's bodies and look for the right skills for our character. Combat will be strategic, focused on precision attacking and seizing opportunity through counterattack. We will fight against various creatures of the grotesque appearance and as soon as the game is classified in the soulslike category, it will probably not be easy for us.

Mortal Shell is coming out this fall for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

50,000 cheats thrown out of CoD: Warzone

Cheating has become common in Call of Duty: Warzone, so developers have decided to confirm that they have zero tolerance for cheating in that game.

With the exponential growth of the number of players in Call of Duty: Warzone, more and more common cases of cheating in this multiplayer game were quickly recorded. Some players found glitches on the map that allowed them to lure other players from a safe position. Others, however, have used quite well-known cheating methods such as aimbot.

In the face of louder complaints from the community, the Infinity War team has decided to come up with an issue. As they say, from the first day the game was launched until now, more than 50,000 players have been permanently expelled from Warzone. They have an active team working all day to investigate cheating cases.

But they realize that this is not enough in itself. Therefore, in the future, they will work to speed up and simplify reporting of potential in-game cheating. In addition, they will more often report to the community how many cheaters they have thrown out of Warzone.

Of course, Warzone is not the only major multiplayer game that has cheating issues. Similar things have happened to PUBG, and some will say that the problem is not eliminated to this day, but merely put under control.

CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is exclusive to PlayStation 4, temporarily

Call of Duty has now officially received another remaster and again, not all players can play it for a while.

The horribly guarded secret called CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has now been officially confirmed. The game is already available on the PlayStation 4 console for $ 25, and is available exclusively on the PlayStation Store. We do not mean that it is available only digitally, but that it is not currently available on PC and Xbox One platforms.

No worries, CoD fans, a remake of Modern Warfare 2 will come to PC / XBO too, but a little later - it seems 30/4.

Activision has partnered with Sony for years, so this move is not surprising. A month of exclusivity is actually quite acceptable in this case compared to the one-year exclusivity of Survival mode in CoD: Modern Warfare from 2019.

Basically, for those who haven't followed the previous news, this remaster only delivers a campaign, no PvP and co-op multiplayer. Buying a remaster you get the Classic Ghost Bundle with various items for CoD: MW and Warzone.
